Website not entirely accurate

The Save Inn website claimed that it was pet friendly. I made a reservation based solely upon this advert. When my wife and I and dog arrived there on August 2, 2025, we were refused a room. The on-duty manager said that no pet friendly rooms were available and that we should have made a special request. Their website said nothing about having to make a special request.

The convenience of the location was a significant advantage. However, the lack of Wi-Fi access proved to be somewhat challenging. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the accommodations left something to be desired. I don't think we can stay again at this location.

Nice place for the cost and location with easy access and flexibility close to supermarket and number of restaurants but also close to main attractions

Awful

To start off was not told we were going to have to pay 20.00 a day for a service dog for ex military . We left 2 days later when they insisted we had to pay that. Gave us a receipt for 960.00 to be returned. They put it on some master card I do not have. I paid with TD Visa. They said they would look into it. Nothing returned.

Pile of dirt

The place was a dump. They sent us to the building behind the main building. It looks like they refinished the floors but didn’t clean up after. The pillows were full of dust and dirt. Sheets were stained. Lights didn’t work. He said he would have it cleaned up by the time we got back. Well it wasn’t so we left again and went got another room in another hotel. This place is filthy filthy filthy.

Dirty sheets, hair between the sheets, dirty towels, dirty mini fridge with a vomit smell, dirty microwave, uncleaned coffee machine with coffee grounds left, key to the outside door not provided, the air conditioner turned off without wanting to restart, shower curtain with mold, dirty bedroom floor, lampshade of the bedside lamp broken and not working, due to the traffic and high season charged $84 more for the 3rd person, when the contract mentioned $10, bad smell in the room, old, outdated, dilapidated, unclean, not worth $210 for one night, scam

This Inn should be condemned by the board of health. I phoned twice and was assured I was getting the room pictured online, totally renovated…. Entering the building, everything was so dirty, sheets hanging instead of doors to hide laundry room, dirty walls, floors , looked like the place had been ransacked! When I walked into my room I couldn’t Believe that this room was for guests. The beds weren’t made right with bugs on the pillows, disgusting bedding, gross bathroom, filthy, grungy towels everything was rusty, and dirty!! They wet the floors and told me they cleaned the room.. I am 66 years old and well travelled, I knew this was a non refundable transaction, and I still walked out!! I couldn’t find another reasonably priced room so I just drove home…I’m only an hour or so away, others who come from far could get stuck staying here and that would just be totally disgusting! You’d be better off sleeping in your car!!

Disgusting

Went there for a weekend away with my boyfriend, I had unfortunately paid online and it was non-refundable. When we first pulled in we saw broken windows on the front of the building and in the room and had to wait 15 minutes ringing the doorbell before anyone came down to give us our key. As for the room, I paid for a room with one queen bed and got a room with two doubles, there was hair in the beds, the pillows had dark brown stains on them, the shower mat was soaked and the towels smelled musty like the rest of the room, the tv remote didn’t work and was very dirty and sticky, and when I used the buttons on the side of the tv it turned on but to a frozen screen of a basketball game. Spent over $200 for two nights and didn’t end up staying there for either of them it was so gross. As for the service we stayed there for an hour checking the place out and when we went to the main lobby to complain about the cleanliness we were told it was cleaned half an hour ago. I found a different hotel to stay in for the weekend even though I lost my money. I don’t suggest wasting your money on this place.

The property was badly in need of updating, but it looks as if the owner is just waiting for someone to purchase for future development. It is not a place I would recommend or would go to again

First, I booked a queen bed during the week, when we arrived, they only had double beds left. Not a good start with a married couple. Thankfully we brought cleaning wipes amd our own bedding. Someone seemed to be cleaning a room for a few hours with a door open but seems ours may have been missed. It took me about 20 mins to wipe down the entire room, not sure why housekeeping has an issue wiping the one end table, one dresser/tv stand and clean the yellow goo in the mini fridge. When we asked for a new room with the bed i reserved, they would not. While we were SLEEPING, we heard our door knob rattling, and then someone proceeded to open the door. It just happened to be ANOTHER customer, who had been given our room key while we were already checked in for more than 5 hours. Their children are running around the motel freely as well, i understand this is a family run business, but a toddler should jit be running arpund unaccompanied.

The picture is misleading. Property has not been kept up. Check in area not very welcoming and speaks to the rest of the property. Window sills, fans are dirty but the room and bathroom were relatively clean. You get what you pay for.

Unsatisfied

Im afraid i was very disappointed the room had a odor and there were cob webs, dead bugs on floor of the bathroom and a ring around the tub and the remote did not work we had to use it manually also one 0f the bottom room and garbage outside of it the whole weekend it was disgusting.

1star at best

Outdated and unclean. We were in the secondary building out back. Hallways had dead june bugs and spiders, various cinder blocks laying around. Outside our door was trash littering the grass. Our room crawled w ants overnight. Very musty. Fridge was gross. Microwave was clean. Came w coffee and soap in bathroom; bathroom had dead bugs on ground. Carpets def had not been vacuumed in a long time. Beds were clean though. Overall, having stayed in motels (vs. Hotels) most of our trips, this made top "would not recommend" list. Yes, it's 88$/night, however there is clearly no pride here at all. We did not stay the 2nd night we were booked for.

Think twice before you book this motel

I am usually a positive person. I tend to leave any place I stay in tidy when I leave. However, I had to stay here for a night due to an urgent situation, and I never want to stay here again. Pros: The air conditioning worked really well on a hot night, the bed was reasonably comfortable, and it was quiet enough to sleep well. It was conveniently close to the beach and downtown, which made getting around easy. Cons: 1. They didn't change the bed sheets, so there was hair under the pillow and visible wrinkles and signs of use on the sheets. Fortunately, I had my own sheets, so I managed to get through the night. 2. The bathroom was just ridiculous. I could understand the old bathtub, but there were traces of dirty water and hair everywhere, with dead flies scattered around. The toilet had urine stains as if it hadn't been cleaned for a month. Also, the toilet seat was loose, and I nearly fell. The towels should be replaced; they seemed washed but were too old and had a couple of stains, which made me hesitant to use them. 3. The room was so dusty that I could write "please clean the dust" on the surfaces. It seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in a year. Although we urgently needed a place to stay for one night, it wasn't worth $150. I would pay around $50 at most. The bathroom door handle was broken, but my husband fixed it, so we should have been the ones getting paid! If you're going to rent it out for money, please at least pay some attention to cleaning.
