Always guaranteed a comfortable and pleasurable stay here. Straightforward check out and nice hot drinks tray Always look forward to the breakfast in the morning. Reasonably priced and not too far out from town once you get to know the area

Hotel and bar were very welcoming , comfortable and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. Bar staff and hotel staff were all a good laugh. Even locals welcomed us and chatted to us all night

Stayed in room 8, the room has a dedicated bathroom so not en suite like all the other rooms, no problem though. Very clean and warm, breakfast was great

Bare bones but decent for the price.

An older facility. Also beware it is adjacent to the pub so weekends can be noisy. Did love that we had an individual heater we could control ourselves.

Public bar and restaurant were good and the room was very pleasant and tastefully decorated. However the areas, especially the doors leading to our room needed painting or at least cleaned they were very grubby and bit untidy. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. Sadly the noise of the traffic went on till the early hours and because we needed to have the window open because of the high temperatures there was no getting away from it.

This is a hotel I've used before but was disappointed this time by high noise levels. It seems the hotel/pub caters for weddings etc. The room I was allocated was directly above their function room which emitted a very loud thumping noise that literally made the room vibrate! After complaining I was offered another smaller room which was better but the window had to be kept shut since many of the revellers were in the garden below. I like the hotel but do check on other activities before booking.

This hotel represents value for money and the quality of the food was very good. They have daily food offers buy one get one free or pie and a pint at a special price. Breakfast wad superb and very satisfying. Would go again next time we need to be in the south-west.

Really impressed, especially for the price! Despite being above a pub, which I think had live music on the night I stayed, the room was one of the quietest I've stayed in. Had a great comfortable night's sleep. The cooked to order breakfast was very good as well. Very happy, will definitely stay here again.

The room was fine. A shame the toilet seat was obviously loose and wouldn’t stay up. Also told on arrival that evening food wasn’t available, which wasn’t really a problem with an Indian restaurant just up the road but it isn’t what I would have chosen to eat. Having food available on site is the main reason I book here. I have stayed many times and hope to stay again soon.

This is a local pub with rooms. Was not busy in bar at anytime during our stay. Rooms were a little basic but comfortable. A cooked to order breakfast was included and was well presented and tasty. Staff/management were very accommodating service with a smile.

Cheltenham prices are higher than the other locations we've visited, but the age and layout of the old pub building leaves you feeling short changed. Staff service and food were very good and breakfast was included in price. Parking was on the street, time sensitive and where a gap could be found.
