Lovely place indeed

Lovely place to stay, welcoming and friendly staff, they really offered a personal touch, very unusual these days. Would stay there again for sure.

Superb rooms, and the staff were awesome. Don’t miss the breakfast, it’s so so well done all round, and you’ll get the proper English BnB treatment.
Sean, 1-night trip

Fabulous stay with helpful staff, great atmosphere and value for money.
Thea, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The rooms were very clean and tidy but chairs in the rooms would have been welcome. The staff were very helpful about my folding bicycle.
David, 7-night trip

Very old inn, had a lovely meal. Great atmosphere.
Neville, 2-night trip

What was most notable here was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff I met.

Tim, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Lovely first floor room, overlooking street, very comfortable and well decorated. Very quiet. King-size bed was great, but mattress was very soft. Otherwise all really good. We arrived on a the day everyone was going home from the festival so staff had been really busy all day. As a result a number of things were off the menu, including croissants for breakfast! However staff were lovely, really helpful, very good and would go the extra mile.

Fab location

Excellent location with walking distance to everything and the ferry. Bed very comfortable. Only little grumble is the towels are far too small and would have liked 2 each, but other than that, nothing to complain about.
LJ, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Yarmouth overnight.

The room was very tried and facilities basic - I guess that’s why it’s a fairly cheap price for Yarmouth. Bed was very uncomfortable. Bar, drinks and food are ok.
Dean, 1-night trip

Good choice!

The Bugle is an old coaching Inn, and has the lovely quaint side that it entails, it’s decor is tired but clean, not perfect but totally adequate for our needs. The bedding etc was spotless and comfortable. The food was delicious and came out piping hot, as was the breakfast, great quality products. The staff and management were very friendly and efficient, I would certainly return.
Jack, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

On the whole a good stay. Staff and food excellent. Only downside for me at 6 feet tall was being in a attic room with very low sloping ceilings which caught me out several times when not concentrating like switching on the kettle, getting out of the bath and even using the loo. I have a few reminders of my stay.
Richard, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Not a good nights sleep

Expensive for what you get. Breakfast at an extra £15 per person is a rip off. Mattresses very poor - cheap and uncomfortable . Spoilt my night.
Robert, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Stayed twice before so yes another value for money stay . Couldn’t fit us in for dinner one rainy evening as busy busy but later said they could as we were staying there but we’d already booked the nearby Terrace so that was bit disappointing . Nice place for a few days . We didn’t have a car and very easy to visit places on nearby buses .
Julie Anne, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

Centrally located but a bit noisy with early delivery traffic as a consequence. Room getting a bit tired. Would suggest having breakfast elsewhere.
Alexander, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Friendly staff, however room not tidied, bed not made and tea/ coffee not replenished. Overpriced since no breakfast available.
Mervyn, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

We liked the bar and dining area but the bedrooms upstairs seemed to be in some need of investment, especially No 1 where we were first accommodated. After our first night we were moved to No 2 which was much better. There is no car-park for the property and parking in the centre of the town was expensive.
Michael, 7-night trip

8/10 Very good

Lovely stay

Lovely stay and very friendly staff. The new décor is also great. The only negative is that the room rates have risen quite a lot and they don't include breakfast anymore.
Tom, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good place for a short stay in Yarmouth

We were only staying for one night but the bathroom was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Bedroom was equipped with refreshments but the decor was a little tired. Lovely breakfast and a good choice of hot and cold food. Very pleasant staff in all areas.
Wendy, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The breakfast was a bit late starting. Hot food was slow. Coffee was not fresh. Otherwise the breakfast was great.
David, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Nice place!
Terje, 3-night trip

Fab but small suggestions

The Wellow had a lovely view and was decorated to a lovely standard. We loved our stay and the staff, service & food were good. Just a couple of small suggestions for the room. A mirror above the kettle station would be helpful for doing hair as no plug near the long mirror. Perhaps tissues & bottled water for the rooms to reflect the price.
