I was really pleased with the stay Tamsin was lovely and nothing was too much effort, I only have one criticism the shower was too small and there was mould in the roof but everything else was spot on

Our stay at the Beaches was good,Tamsin the landlady was very informative about the area, the breakfast was very good. The room was a little small but the bed was very comfortable, the only downside was that there was no ventilation as the window wasn’t able to be opened,but overall was very good value for money.

The hotel wad very dated and basic, extremely uncomfortable bed, we had a sea view which we looked forward to but didn't realise we we're in the attic for this so had nearly 50 steps to our room which wasn't easy! On check out was told we could not pay bay card so had to go out looking for a cash machine this would have been useful to know at booking. On a positive the hosg was very friendly and helpful and ghr breakfast was lovely 😃

We had a wonderful weekend at the Beaches guest house. The owner is wonderful she is so friendly and gave us really good information about local events which were on and how to get to places. The guest house is in the centre of Whitby and 5 mins from the beach so you don't need to use the car. The Expedia information said you had to take your own towels and sheets but this is wrong they are provided. We would definitely recommend this property.

Excellent, definitely come back

Very cosy and comfy room. Beds were great, shower too, breakfast was amazing and the host is really friendly and helpful. She gave us a permit to park for 4 days and finding a space was very easy. She has also helped us a lot with tips where to eat and how to get to places and everything. Genius, thank you so much :)

We had a lovely time at the Beaches b/b.Tamsin the hostess was welcoming and friendly. Room was small but very comfy with plenty of tea and coffee. Shower was good. Breakfast in the morning was very tasty and breakfast room was lovely. There was a selection of cereals. We would you again when in Whitby. Wasn't far from town centre.

Very convenient for it’s purpose

Too many stairs for my comfort. No dressing table to sit at and dry my hair. The bed was comfortable and the position near the venue was convenient .

Didnt appreciate being placed on the very top floor, at least 50 steep stairs. Would have been nice to get a call in advance before allocating the rooms. We booked well in advance. Breakfast nice, host friendly, bed rock hard.
