Emerald Inn Takapuna

Had a lovely stay at Emerald Inn. This was my 3rd stay in 2 weeks. Rooms are lovely with everything you need and they have a free guest laundry. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I even got a room upgrade becaused I had stayed so often. I will be back to stay when I'm in Takapuna.

We were welcomed by the manager and her assistant almost as if we were friends. By walking only 100 meters we had an amazing view of Rang-it-to-to Island and a beautiful beach lined with Po-hu-to-ka-wa trees.

We paid $350 per night and for that price, we were expecting there to be air-conditioning. The decor was a bit dated and it felt like they scrimped wherever possible eg toiletries, toilet paper.
