One Night at the channel Tunnel

Location was perfect close to the channel tunnel, we wanted to be in the French side, which is fortunate as the shuttle service was running behind schedule. we arrived at 01:00 local time. Great breakfast the next morning, rooms clean and comfortable.

Fast check in , room was ok , but a bad smell in the bathroom , no bathroom supplies , only dishsoap dispender , not even tissues .Breakfast was ok , but lady in the breakfastroom was not friendly .3 day's in row have to ask for plates and bowles and every time she was not friendly . Overal good place to stay .

Horrific bed bugs and insects

This was simply horrific. Arriving so late in the evening to shower get in bed and wake up to a bed covered in bugs was the worst experience. Wiping them off my personas then finding more left in the bed well was like being on I’m a celebrity get me out of here!! After speaking to someone who apparently was a manager with no empathy or even an apology just summed up the hotel.

An absolutely fantastic stay at a hotel a short drive from the channel Tunnel terminal. It was everything we needed, quick to check in, friendly staff, a clean spacious room and a fantastic bed for the night. The room was quiet, a fan was provided and we had a much needed night’s sleep in a very comfy bed. We were a little concerned about security and parking a car, but I would not hesitate to return, or recommend this hotel to others needing an overnight stop in Calais.
