The hotel location is very convenient, the free shuttle bus stop is just across the road. The decor is modern and the room size is good enough for two persons. The gate code that was emailed to me had an added digit, so it obviously didn't work. The amount of traffic at the gate and an erroneous code made for an extremely frustrating arrival. It took a while to get things figured out. When we made it to check-in, the lady basically said "oops" - and blamed her quick typing for the mistake. She definitely could have made us feel better with a little more understanding/compassion. Unfortunately we stayed here during an extreme heat wave (97F, 36C), so the lack of AC made things pretty tough. In a more moderate climate, our experience probably would have been more positive.

I was asked to commit to a check-in time in advance, therefore when our plans changed and we arrived earlier (4 PM) there was no room ready for us. Air conditioning was not working so woke up during the night sweating with the windows open. Brewed Coffee is only available with the purchase of breakfast(12 euros). A concerning safety situation is that the room number is visible on the room entry card. The bed was comfortable and the location is good for visiting Mont Saint Michel.

Hotel fine but beware room 005 and those above it.

The hotel is an ideal base to visit the Abbey. The building is smart and has parking. The room I had was an accessible one level from reception. The main problem in that area of the hotel is a strange reverberation every time a car passes from one direction. It is very loud and we got little sleep. There are no rumble strips in the road, despite reception claiming there are. I think it's a fault in the windows or ceiling void. We though it was people above us jumping on the floor, but it always co-incided with a passing car. Breakfast was very good, with a wide range of cheese, jams, breads and ham, plus local apple juice.
