Stunning private location and venue. We didn’t get much views of the valley from our Turrett room but it was nice to have our own balcony. The AC in the room isn’t that efficient at cooling but other than that, everything was perfect

This is a beautiful spot and hotel for those exploring the Parque Natural da Serra da Estrela. I gave it less of a rating for a couple of reasons. The food at dinner was not up to what I would have expected of a place like this, just ok. Breakfast was great however. I had a room with a turret and the space and view were amazing, but the washrooms needed a bit of work to make it a 4 or 5 star place.

Erg mooie locatie prachtig uitzicht mooi oud gebouw. Heerlijk binnenbad ook mooi buitenbad maar daar was het te fris voor. Leuke speelkamer met o.a. tafeltennis en tafelvoetbal. Het is fijn dat er een restaurant is maar dat mag wel enigszins verbeterd worden. De prjjs/ kwaliteit is niet in verhouding. Zeer vriendelijk man bij receptie, wij zouden er mits in de buurt zo weer verblijven.

Lovely, clean, peaceful. And the staff were incredible - we left before breakfast, and they packed us fresh pastries to take with us. They met us at the counter with them at the crack of dawn. What a wonderful experience.

Um bom hotel, mas com algumas ressalvas.

É um bom hotel, mas pensando-se num Pestana, algumas coisas deixaram a desejar. Passamos uma noite, de terça para quarta-feira em pleno Carnaval. O hotel estava cheio, com muitas famílias com crianças porque o hotel estava oferecendo um pequeno baile. Acho que, por conta disso, o jantar foi em buffet e não a "la carte" e esse foi o maior problema da nossa estadia. A comida não estava boa, não estava apresentável e as várias sobremesas estavam ruins, sem gosto, feitas sem cuidado. O ponto alto do nosso jantar ficou por conta do garçom Tuma, um profissional muito simpático, sorridente e eficiente. Para compensar o péssimo jantar, o café da manhã foi maravilhoso, com muitas opções gostosas de bebidas, pães, frios e etc... Tudo o que um excelente café da manhã deve ter! Esse sim estava no nível de um Pestana! Outro problema que tivemos foi a falta de profissionais no bar após jantar. Só havia um funcionário para servir muitas mesas e pessoas e acabamos por ficar sem licor e café. Os quartos e banheiros são bons e espaçosos. Tudo estava muito limpo e arrumado. Os funcionários foram gentis e educados. O hotel é muito bonito, foi um sanatório no passado, se encontra numa região linda com paisagens bucólicas e muito próximo da torre da Serra da Estrela. A área do spa é muito boa, com uma piscina aquecida bem grande e com água bem quente. Não deixaria de recomendar este hotel, mas também não deixaria de fazer algumas ressalvas.

Well located hotel and beautiful lobby area. Great staff . Valet parking which is helpful. Our room was extremely small, the towels were old and needed replacing , the bed comfy but pillows were not. I would say the hotel needs a refurb.

Checkin horrível

Checkin foi horrível. Porque o hotel não tinha a reserva e apesar do Hotéis.com enviar novamente, ficamos na recepção por mais de 1 hora e a recepcionista respondia só frases automáticas. Não fez nada para ajudar. Essa 1a impressão foi horrível. No restante as acomodações do hotel são excelentes e o café da manhã maravilhoso.
