Whilst the hotel is a little dated it was clean and the staff very helpful. A good base hotel for exploring the local area and taking a trip to Yakushima via the local ferry a couple km's away.

Great hotel with volcano view.
This was our 2nd stay at Kagoshima Sun Royal Hotel..says it all. Wonderful staff..great breakfast..great onsen. Thanks to all the staff, especially Geoffroy. Hope to come back.

Facing to Sakurajima the view is superb. Shuttle bus provided is convenient to travel to JR central station. Even public bus stop is just several walk steps outside the hotel.

Can view the volcano island from Room. Purified water is prepared inside a clean boiler. Nice tea and coffee pick.
The onsen at rooftop is smaller than I thought, but still nice, and it has steamed room. Since it is indoor onsen, the mist on window actually makes it hard to see the volcano.
Shopping mall and outlet store nearby, some close at 9, the opening hour of shops nearby is comparatively long, quite convenient.
It has free shuttle to pick up from JR station, supplement the shortcoming of location. Overall it’s nice with reasonable price for relaxation.

Service was good, counter staff tried their best. Hotel was old and not upgraded. My room smelled stale and condition of the bed was not ideal. Felt very dusty overall in the room.

接駁車的服務是很便利，但中午時段沒有營運，不是很便利中午抵達市區的遊客。搭計程車抵達飯店，接待人員在門口迎接，不斷強調下午兩點後才能辦理入住，真的是有點奇怪。人都還沒走進去，直接在大門外不斷重複，這服務可以再到位一些。

部屋は清潔で問題なし。展望大浴場に館内着でいけるのも良かったです。また、浴場の脱衣所で貴重品をどうしようかと迷っていたのにスタッフの方が気づいて下さって、ロッカーを誘導してくれました。設備 、スタッフの方共々心配りが感じられるホテルでした。

川商ホール利用のためこちらのホテルを予約しました。歩いてすぐの距離で助かりました。
部屋からの桜島眺望は素晴らしかったです。
朝 焼けは特に素敵でした。
朝食ほ種類豊富でとても美味しかったです。
スタッフの方はどの方も丁寧な対応で心地よく過ごす事ができました。
お風呂は口コミ通り桜島を見る事ができる最上階でしたがホテルの規模に対してとても狭くて、洗い場がいっぱいでしばらく待っていました。混み具合をネットで見ることは出来るようでしたがやはり週末は集中してしまうと思いました。

外観はちょっと古い感じがしましたが、部屋も温泉もとても綺麗に清掃されていて、快適に過ごすことができました。
部屋からも大浴場からも桜島を一望することができ、このホテルを選んで良かったなと思いました。
朝食ビュッフェも種類が豊富で、とても美味しく朝から幸せな気分になりました。
またホテル周辺に飲食店やコンビニ、色々なお店がありチェックイン後も気軽に遊びに行けていいと思います。
他にも無料のシャトルバスで天文館や鹿児島中央駅まで行けるのも、すごくありがたかったです！

2度目の宿泊ですが居心地、立地はGoodです。
朝夕のバイキング利用して品は素晴らしいですが味付けが濃いのが残念です。
でも個人的には好きなホテルです。
