Great hidden gem. Arrived late, but my room was ready and waiting. Very clean room. Very large.

Wonderful surprise for a terrific price! They even moved a microwave into the room for us. Splendid location. Only complaint is the loud bathroom fan connected to the light fixture. And too bad no breakfast service the mornings we were there but that's why we got a microwave. Fabulous views all around.

Great place to stay. Location is great for the Badlands loop. The manager is a friendly person, gave us some good suggestions for eating in the area. Good value for our stay

2/10 Poor

Did not stay there, pool was collapsed, The area looked like a dive. We drove on into wall south dakota to stay

We enjoyed our stay. It is close to the entrance into The Badlands.
Wilma, 2-night trip

The staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was cool and clean. Bathroom needs updating, toilet was low and small. Breakfast was good for what was offered. Coffe should be free, especially with breakfast. Should offer something to drink with breakfast. Was a convenient location for staying in Badlands and other nearby sights.

Great location

Great location for one night in the Badlands. Definitely older and not somewhere I would stay for a long time but worked well for iur family.

Wonderful hotel! We stayed here for 1 night while traveling to the Badlands. Proximity to the national park is incredible, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and I’d highly recommend staying here! Very budget friendly and you definitely get a great deal :)
Julia, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Yes, this place is on the older side but it’s exactly what you might expect from a hotel/campground. It’s quiet, clean and literally just outside of the park entrance. I would definitely stay here again. (Pool is not in service and we could not get tv to work, but we were here for Badlands anyway.)

very good location near park entrance. property not mainlined. flies infestation. toilet too low (children) unconfortable for an older person.
Salvatore, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

YMMV - close to eastern side of Badlands NP.

Tiny window AC that could barely keep up with heat from outside and was noisy. Bathroom shower still had hair in drain from prior guest. Convenient spot to explore eastern side of Badlands NP was redeeming quality.

This was an awesome spot for exploring the Badlands. Everything was clean. The space was warm. The store on the property was great. And the location was perfect! Plan to stay more than one night.
Erica, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

There is nothing fancy or extravagant about our stay here. The town has a population of about 94 (more if you count the campers that stay here. The surrounding Badlands made the stay here worth it. My only issue was that I couldn't get a single picture that could capture what I was looking at.
Joseph, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Location is great and desk staff are friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom is worn and dated. The regular beds were comfortable but the pull out soda bed needs to be replaced as I could feel the support wires through the mattress. Good supply of toiletries and appreciated the regular and decaf coffee oprions.
Anita, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good place to stay on a budget.

Julie, 1-night trip

Decent if you are only using room to sleep

We booked the room because we liked how close it was to the national park. The room seemed to be kinda run down. I know they are in the process of updating their rooms so we may have gotten one that was not updated. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the water pressure in the bathroom was poor. The people running the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The town is extremely small so plan accordingly. The only restaurants near by are bars.
