We stayed in room 408. There was black mold on ceiling in bathroom. We killed 2 brown recluse spiders and it took 10 minutes to get hot water. Night shift Emily was real rude. They try to charge me 3xs for a deposit. Emily night shift threatened me saying that if I didn't sign a paper that I had already signed when I checked in that she said my keys would probably not work. There are just so many things that went wrong. Staying there and I guarantee. I will not be back to that place.also everytime we we open our door it smell like someone was smoking but no one was oit side.

Cheap place to stay while you're visiting Nevada city. The city of Nevada City is absolutely wonderful. And this place allows you to visit the town and stay affordably.

It is a lovely area and the two towns of Nevada city and grass Valley are so fun to visit. The three people that we met at the check-in desk were so kind and full of great idea ideas of where to eat in the area and how to get to the evening Christmas market. This is definitely a dog lovers hotel. Unfortunately, our room although spacious reeked of dog smells.

I had visited many years ago and had a great stay. Now the property is going through renovations. Everyone at the desk was great and accommodating when we asked to be moved to another room. There are many things to like including a great location to Nevada City, and the price is right compared to other stays in the area.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the price was very good. This is an older motel and it's really showing it's age. If you're not looking for glam, this place is great. But the rooms need a serious facelift. The HVAC unit was on heat and it was also quite noisy all night.

Don’t stay here!

I stayed here this past weekend. Unfortunately I did not have a good stay. The front desk was friendly but that’s it. The room was dirty and the bathroom was disgusting. They never cleaned my room during the weekend.
