This hotel and its staff is what you dream of when traveling. After a long travel day, it was like walking into a warm hug. The hotel is in a great location with a view that you never want to leave. The food is delicious. A great wine selection. And it is a 10 minute walk to the center of bellagio.

Amazing hotel. We stayed in the studio and the location was great. We had a great view to the lake. The restaurant was great with a gorgeous view. Highly recommended. The hotel is not at the heart of Bellagio but is like 10 min walk from the main attractions which is great because is not too loud not busy. We loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were in the ground floor of the annex building and the views from the patio were beautiful. The room is spacious and clean. Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent as was the serving staff there. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel, but we found a dirt path off the road that we enjoyed walking on. The street is narrow and cars drive fast so we avoided that as much as possible. There was supposed to be a beach we could access but we never did find it from the directions given. It’s also a 15 min walk to town but if you buy a pass to the Melzi Garden, you can walk through there during the day and enjoy a gorgeous view of the lake and gardens and avoid walking on the road.

Our room looked like a dorm room. Our air conditioner was so loud we could not sleep. We checked out early and this hotel would not refund us. Very disappointed with Hotel Silvio and Expedia. No one would help us.

Hotel Silvio was very nice. We loved the balcony! The balcony had a tiny table and two chairs. Perfect for morning tea. The restaurant was fancy and pretty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The air-conditioning worked well! My only issue and advise ----when you get off of the ferry catch the bus (reasonably close) to the hotel. The bus runs on the hour. Do NOT count on taxis! Lugging the suitcase up the hill was difficult. However, I am in my 50's, have a bad knee with 40 extra pounds on me. However, once you get the luggage into the hotel, the 10 minute walk into the heart of the town isn't too bad. Being away from the heart of town had its perks. It was quiet and we had a splendid view of the water from our balcony. It was also nice to go downstairs at the end of our day and have a glass of wine in the courtyard, with all its pretty lights and attentive staff. The elevator was a little "iffy" at the time, so the receptionist carried our bags up the stairs. They were very helpful there.... really more than any other place we stayed. I would stay there again as long as I had a ride up the hill.

Hotelli sijaitsee selkeästi Bellagion keskustan ulkopuolella, eikä sinne/sieltä ollut mitään toimivaa kuljetusta.
