First, I want to acknowledge the young lady who checked us in. She was very courteous. I do not have an issue with her. Great job to her!
We arrived late in the evening, and computers were down. After several phone calls over the next 40 minutes, we were able to check in. Because system was down, we were not issued room keys. The lady had to walk us to the room and let us in with the master key.
I asked if we could get a courtesy upgrade because of the inconvenience, and she said because we booked with Expedia we could not make changes. Had I known any of this was happening prior to check in, I would have cancelled and booked elsewhere. She told us the computers had been down for over a day. That was plenty of time to notify me to make other arrangements. And because we did not know sooner, I could not cancel my reservation at that time.
Upon entering the room, the fridge was absolutely disgusting. The pillows had been tossed on the bed and were in total disarray. There was a toilet paper wrapper on the bathroom floor. The place had been cleaned, but very carelessly.
I will never stay here again. Wouldn’t even bring my dog.
