Overnight stay

Very good wifi, clean, comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Close to shopping and restaurants. No ice machine and shower temperature would fluctuate. Would stay again.

Great Accommodation

The Best Continental is always the accommodation we choose when traveling through Hope. If you're looking for something fancy this isn't it, but the rooms are spotless, beds are comfortable and easy access to restaurants and downtown area.

I liked the fact they had Shaw, I mean Rogers cable as opposed to streaming services. The in-room coffee was a plus and management was pleasant to deal with.

Last minute decision to stay overnight on my way back to the Okanagan. Host was friendly and helpful. Exterior was immaculate and the flower pots were a nice touch. A great place for weary travellers to lay their heads.

Older style motel which remains consistent in its cleanliness and comfort. Nothing fancy but is quiet and provides a welcome resbit from driving across the province.

Property needs updating however it was spotlessly clean & had some nice little touches too. Owner was kind & helpful. I’d rather have dated and clean than modern & semi clean like so many hotels. It was a good place to stay overnight & we’d stay again if passing through Hope.

How does this get an 8/10 rating??

The interior of the room was clean at least, but from the outside the place looks decrepit and unkept. The bathroom was in rough shape, with metal tape used to cover plumbing repairs in the bathtub! The area is a little run down as well, bring your valuables in from the car. The staff were friendly and helpful though. A good $80/night hotel, not $155 after taxes etc.

Ok for the proce

The outside appearance was tired although you could tell they were trying. The exterior door was very dirty though. However the room had been somewhat renovated, was clean but some walls and doors weren’t. The bed was very good and comfortable. The bathroom fixtures were new. There was a strange odor in the room that seemed to go away once we were in there but was disconcerting. It may have been tied to a cleaning solution or something from the renovations.
