The staff are so polite and helpful- really nice people. My room was spotless and very quiet as all widows were double glazed. They provided the best breakfast smorgasbord style and yes they have Polish Tarts. There is a lovely outdoor area where you can sun bake or swim in the heated pool. A Perfect Gay Stay

Really sensational service, and a lovely hotel. Not only was the room spotless and incredibly comfortable, it was as quiet and intimate as I could ever have hoped for. The hotel is as central as an hotel could be, and the cats (who really run it) add an amusing character to quite possibly the nicest gay venue I’ve ever visited. Highest possible recommendation.

Beautiful property and lovely staff. I had a great time and quickly made friends with some of the other guests. I recommend setting aside at least one afternoon of your trip to just relax in the garden by the pool, enjoying their excellent cocktails. I also highly recommend the sunset cruise which was a highlight of our vacation. Breakfast is great, common areas are thoughtful and beautifully furnished. Walk uphill to dining and nightlife in Bairro Alto, or downhill to all the major attractions of central Lisbon. Late Birds is a bit pricier but in my opinion they really deliver for it. I look forward to staying there again someday.

We had such an amazing stay at Late Birds! The staff was friendly and always there to help and make sure we enjoy our stay to the fullest. The pool and backyard were like an oasis right in the middle of Lisbon. We will definitely consider going back next time!
