The included breakfast is very good. Concierge service to Puerto Galera is good, but very expensive. However; the bed was very hard and springs were hitting me all night, the shower didn't work (no hot water anyway), strict rule of two small bottles of water, very inconvenient placement of outlets and a 1,000 peso deposit even though there is no minibar (what did they think we would steal, the bed?) and the overall feel was very run down.

This is about a 3 star property. Get a room in the back, because the ones in the front get a lot of street noise. The best thing about this place is they have a bus/ferry combo going to beach resort Puerta Galera. It leaves at 9:30 a.m.

City State Tower.

First room no windows. Asked for change, moved me to a room with windows. Wondering why I was not placed there the first time. Very nice and clean, 2 beds, warm shower. BREAKFAST needs improvements. Had to search for napkins and silverware, not on table. Scrambled eggs pan empty, sausages cold, limited items, no pancakes, ample salad items.

As part of my layover in Manila, I chose this hotel, mainly based on price and location. I must say that City State Tower Hotel met the grade on both of these. Although it is somewhat dated, the hotel has very adequate facilities with a very helpful and friendly staff. There are many stores, restaurants and other places of interest very close by, including Robinson, which has a huge supermarket and department store. The room had a comfortable bed, a very good air conditioner and good sink and shower with warm water. There is even a water kettle for coffee or tea. So overall, very satisfied and I definitely would stay there again in the future.

Well maintained, kinda, despite not so modern amenities. They excel in cleanliness. Some of the staff need a little more politeness. Those assigned in the dining area are very nice and friendly though.

No on site parking availability even though its on their property details. Was given the option of parking 3 or 4 blocks away in the Robinsons parking lot but I would have had to move it again because they don't have overnight parking. The other option was to do valet parking. I told the manager on duty that it was not acceptable and I wouldn't return as a customer. After some hesitation, he upgraded me to the valet parking lot which I appreciated.

Katastrophe

In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel wo man wirklich keinen Peso investiert um das ganze etwas auf Vordermann zu bringen. So zum Beispiel der Duschkopf ist verstopft und hat ein Strahl. Zimmerservise frage ich mich ob so etwas überhaupt existiert habe an 2 Tagen das Schild man solle doch das Zimmer putzen angebracht leider ohne Erfolg. Für mich ist es klar nie wieder in das Hotel das Preis Leistung Verhältnis stimmen überhaupt nicht.
