First room had no power to sockets no toilet roll and no towels and second room had no towels or heating. For price I paid it’s still not great. Cheap but needs some Maintance and checks before letting rooms out

We like staying at harbour hotel but really like the flats very nice place to stay, the hotel toilets is blocked so had 2 have someone out for that, still not right but it’s fine the staff is nice and helpful I would recommend the hotel and the flat two stay

Check in was really easy which was good. Room was clean. My only advice would be more pillows and bigger mugs and a teaspoon. However we were woken at 1am by some idiot vaping in their room and setting of the fire alarms!! Then never got back to sleep due to the inconsiderate piss heads arriving back at all hours up to 5am. Now get they are young and im not a party pooper but maybe in the hotel description it should mention that its let out to young people so oldies like me wouldnt book it. Also maybe a fan in the rooms as the windows are tiny and the room was like an oven.

Absolutely disgusted with my stay. The bedding was disgusting with urine patches on from not having clean bedding. The noise is horrendous. There was also a constant smell of faeces. I tried making a complaint and noone is interested

No heating in the room. It was cold. Neither normal radiator or oil radiator in the room worked. Phoned the number, got another heater brought to the room, took a good while to warm the room up Got one shower then the hot water went cold. It was still cold the next morning

The beds were comfortably. Bad points no fasterners on windows,so they didnt close to block the noise of traffic and people shouting . The property could be cleaner ,i cleaned the shower before using it as there was soap scum on the sides .cobwebs in the shower room with live spiders on .

looks nothing like the online picture we never even went in. Outside looked was filthy and looked like it should be closed down. Never ever seen any thing so bad. I expect a full refund and an apology.

Value for money

Stayed for one night as attended a gig across the road at The Suncastle. Single room with small en-suite (shower), tea and coffee making,small screen TV, hairdryer so all I needed. Bed comfortable, slept well. WiFi did not reach the room which was a disappointment. Room spotless and comfortable warm. Breakfast included in the price. Nice breakfast, cereal, full English with orange juice, tea/coffee. Service good. Great location on the Sea Front, out of season so on road parking. Overall good value for money, would stay again.

When we arrived at the property it looked like it qas a derelict building tried to contact the hotel to get access codes for booking in but thw number on expedia said they dont deal with that hotel anymore so we had to walk to the hotel to see how to gain access we then received a message with access details . When we entered the hotel the foyey looked presentable we did get access early to the room which was great. When we got in the room it smelt like somone had preciously smoked in the room and being none smokers it wasn't pleasant at all. The room looked very shabby you can see its been painted and there was paint all over the carpet and looked very roughly done. The room looked nothing like was advertised, there was marked on the walls and the bathroom was dirty to the point where there was mold in the bathroom and the shower cubical was really dirty the waywe hose for rhe shower looked like its never been cleaned due to my husbands health conditions we wernt able to use the shower due to the mold. The nosie from all the other residents througout the night waa terrible people fighting and arguing went on till early hours and one of residents smoked canibis i wasn't able to close our window due to how warm it was and it waa avwey unpleasant stay. The wires coming from the tv was a hazard and need to be tied back it looked tereible all hanging down No hanger provided to hand up our clothes. I am sorry but it wasnt a pleasant stay at all.

Would not stay again!

The guy that helped us check in was friendly however after check in, we never saw any members of staff in the 2 nights that we was there. They tried to make out like we hadn’t paid at first even after showing proof of a receipt. When we first arrived at 7.30pm, our room wasn’t even ready for us. It took them until 8pm to let us into a room. The rooms are very dated and small. Nothing like the photos. The bathroom is tiny and the window of the room was broken and could not be closed. Would not stay again! Definitely not worth the money we paid

Booking and check in were both really easy, the B&B had no reception desk so it was an online check in, however i receieved a message from Ruby to say contqct her with any issues or problems. The guy who showed us our room was very friendly so no issues concerning that. However there were a few minor inconveniences, there was no waste paper bin, one of the windows wouldn't close properly, the ensuite was definitely needing a referb and the kettle had to be placed on the floor to plug it in. On the upside there was a genourous amount of tea coffee etc and the beds were comfy with very clean linen. It was also on the seafront right next to everything. They didnt do breakfast but there's a Premier inn less than a 5 minute walk away which did an amazing breakfast! To be fair i paid £60 for one nights stay so i guess the issues were reflected in the price. If the place was given a bit of a makeover i think i would stay there again

I have lots of photos we were not in the property more than 15 minutes it was so dirty unsafe nothing like the photos showed . Trying to get hold of head office was awful cut off 4 times the man let us in said the manager took us to the room I told him leaving want a refund he couldn’t help ! So who was he , called head office said can’t , so now I. Dispute with hotels.com . This property needs to be taken off the site the carpets are ripped the curtains have burns in the balcony false turf is all bumpy . We paid £105 gave the keys back within 10 minutes they put it on hotels agsin for the next poor customer at £68 ! Been offered £13 as good will refused as we ended up travelling to Boston to get a room then travelling back the inconvenience and stress of our last summer weekend away is worth much more , I am thinking about getting trading standards involved !

Cheap and Good, No Problems

I booked a single room for 3 nights . Which was clean. And comfortable. Then i upgraded to a double room after first night. Which was also nice . As i had my partner come and stay. First day i had no hot water . But told management. And the nice man explained how to use the shower it was sorted out quickly. Then moved to double room on 2nd night which was perfect at the price i paid .. Clean rooms. TV . Kettle coffee, chocolate etc ..and beds are very comfy . Before leaving my single room to go to my double room . Manager asked me if i would recommend anything. I replied saying need a mirror. then got upstairs .and knock on my door and maintenance man, very nice friendly man put brand new mirror in my room. And other rooms .. Got phone call from head office, saying the manager would like some feedback i agreed so he came to my room and asked me if i needed anything He was very polite and professional.. For the price it was brilliant...i can not understand the negative reviews . I then phoned head office and extended my stay for 1 more night .. For the price i can not moan or grumble. Free parking a stones throw away ..polite staff no noise from other rooms ..cheap and Cheerful, local to town centre . Right on the seafront . Got everything i needed at a great price perfect if your on a budget. And just need a comfortable nights sleep... No Complaints. Had Good Experience, I would stay again,

The room was clean beds was comfortable and the location was great. but the lights on the bed didnt work, there was not enough coffee sugar and milk out and no tea bags at all. We was woken up at 2am from the ignorant people having a domestic next door. Also there was an awful stain on the matress.
