I really liked this property. Super location, very clean with a lovely fragrance on entering. We used the pool but unfortunately had no time for the gym and yoga. The bathroom is lively with quality products too. Will definately return.

The best asset of this property is the staff. Friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was a problem. Extremely clean and apart from onsite options close to many restaurants. Shops and transport at your doorstep.

Amazing place so clean and staff was so nice. Perfect for walking around Sydney as it is next to the park and so close to public transport. Also you can rent a cycle for free at the hotel. Thank you for having us we will be back!

Central location - and noisy
In general an okay hotel with a central location. The hotel is very old, they have kept the old design in many places and most of it looks well-maintained. It was the first time I stayed at Kimpton Margot. The thing that bothers me is the constant noise all over the place. In the lobby at evening the noise from the hotel bar etc. is significant. I had a room at 6th floor and the pool bar on 7th floor had loud music from noon to 10 pm. From 10 to 11 pm you could hear chairs etc. being moved around. It is a central location so you do also hear people yelling from the street. Even at the fitness room the music was so loud. Fitness room was quite big and nice equipment there - absolutely positive. I actually chose this hotel because I wanted to find a hotel with a better breakfast buffer. The breakfast buffet at Kimpton Margot is though limited. Will I return to Kimpton Margot? No, it is too noisy for me.

The room was very comfortable with an excellent TV. Loved meeting the various dogs in the lobby.
We had dinner in the restaurant, and had the wagyu beef tasting plate; the beef was a bit gristly.
Breakfast was excellent.
