Amazing for the price. Yes, it is a budget facility, but a very good one. Room was compact but had everything you need, including a sink, which was very nice! Staff was always friendly and willing to help. Very happy with my stay.

A likewise cozy and convenient place to stay while in Gothenburg. Since it's a rather smaller hostel with 26 rooms only, it guves a personal atmosphere. Staff is amazing: very freindly and helpful in all situations. Recommendation!

Near fantastic public transport links (safe, reliable, quick, regular), but this hostel is one of the best I've stayed in (and I stayed in a dorm room!). Our room was next door to a toilet - you wouldn't know it! So quiet: absolutely no sounds from corridor or next door. And, so very safe - reception staff were friendly, welcoming and professional from the first moment, and all staff I interacted with were so personable, obviously (and understandably) proud of STF Stigbergsliden. Excellent kitchen, dining room, and courtyard facilities. Can't wait to stay again! Tack så mycket, team at Stigbergsliden <3

Overall, quite good.

The beds are comfortable, but the part of having to put and take out the bed linen is awful when you arrive/leave at hours people are sleeping, cause it makes a lot of noise. Also, don't forget that towels are not included! The showers are good, but one of them didn't have a drain so the water went to the other shower, which was weird. The bedroom faced the street so it wasnt easy to keep the window open and the bedroom had a strong smell. It was very easy for a late check-in (just have to message them first) and an early checkout. And the hostel is in a bit of a ramp. Close to the tramstop after a (tiny) bit of effort

⸻ Köket var tyvärr inte i gott skick. Kastruller och andra redskap var smutsiga, och både skåpen, spisen och köksfläkten var dammiga. Köksfönstret var dessutom nedsotat av svart rök, vilket gav ett ofräscht intryck. Diskmedlet var utspätt med vatten och rengjorde därför inte ordentligt vid diskning. I köket fick vi bara en disktrasa per dag, vilket inte var tillräckligt. På avresedagen påpekade jag för städpersonalen att en enda trasa inte räckte, eftersom den snabbt blev oanvändbar. Ett annat problem var att skåpen saknade lås. Gästerna var tvungna att själva köpa egna lås, trots att det borde vara boendets ansvar att tillhandahålla detta. Normalt sett ska varje gäst få ett lås och en nyckel till sitt skåp, som sedan lämnas tillbaka vid utcheckning. Tyvärr fungerade det inte så här.
