Over all, very happy!

The hotel was super cute secluded in the mountains. Quiet and had a store and restaurants on property for convenience. Restaurant food was delicious and the front clerk was always happy and friendly! My only gripe are the beds were super firm so I had to stretch out my back before starting my day.

Very Good

Nice place to stay. Pretty basic but clean and reasonably priced. I’d come back.

8/10 Very good

Nice place in summer with very scenic views. Friendly staff, but not enough workers in Tavern, and breakfast restaurant was closed entirely.
David, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Liked... Room, comfort, clean, amenities for ski resort. Dislike... Hard pillows, distance to Stowe, parking lot is a hike.
William, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Nice room with private balcony was nice, bar soap they provided smelled very nice. Kind of a lot of walking inside the hotel to get to the room. Pool/sauna closed at 6pm so kind of limited hours there in my opinion. Parking closest to the lodge filled up at night so had to park a bit farther. It's up on a mountain so kind of a windy and steep drive up.

Seems dated and worn.
Ramon, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The property overall is very dated. The room was spacious and clean. But overall the property was 1980s. There was no lighting from the parking lot to hotel (200 yards) dangerous walk. The side door into building was left unlocked at night (there was no lock). Isolated location 4 miles to on access road to and from facility. This property has one purpose very convenient for skiers, not those going during off season.
Gerhard, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Rooms are nice and spacious, comfortable clean beds, nice smart tv. But for the price one would expect all that. Also, very kind staff. Best thing is that you are so close to lifts (literally out the door) and great ski facilities immediately around property, including equipment rentals, ski school, little market (not much there), basic ski equipment store, and a 3 min walk to a spacey “sports center” with a minimal gym, a pool, a skatepark (..?), pool table, hot tub (sometimes it works), etc. On the down side, dining options nearby are quite limited (get ready for lots of overpriced pizza and fast food-ish cuisine), no laundry options (closest 15 mile drive!), thin walls can make it noisy (with loud next-door guests), rooms and common areas could benefit from a renovation. A big drawback for us - without a car - was getting there and back from Burlington (hotel has no transport arrangements with local transport companies, so quite pricey).
Stefano, 4-night trip

4/10 Fair

Stayed onsite at the inn attached to the lodge. Looking forward to catching the first chair to the summit after 6" of fresh snow. Breakfast starts at 8 am, lift opens a 9 am. Day Pass ends at 4 to let night skiers pile in. Lodge never empties, local kids get dropped off for night skiing, never an empty seat in the lodge or lounge. Had to leave the property to get a good meal. Night skiing was a high school scene. Food all over the floor. Parking pass for visitors was not enforced, never got a spot. Shower valve went from freezing to scalding, would not regulate, requested repair on first day, never happened. 3 night stay, room was never made up once.
christopher, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Overall, our experience was excellent. If you stay there, split the steak dish between two people. One of the best steaks I have ever had (we did this twice, on Mon. and Thur.) 10oz steak is just right for the two of us. Room was clean and well appointed but a touch small. The staff was excellent and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Negatives were not the fault of the resort but here they are: 1. It's pretty far out. Took about 40 minutes to get to Burlington. 2. The weather is NOT the resorts fault. We got there during a downpour that lasted 3 days until we were leaving. 3. Being at a ski lodge in the summer (during rainy weather) is a bit like being at the Overlook Hotel in the winter. (Go ahead. Look it up!) This said, we still had a nice time and would come again if we go to north Vermont. (P.S. The sunrise on our last day was beautiful.)

We enjoyed our stay! Rooms were near and clean and the hotel was quiet and the staff were very nice!

Great choice

We enjoyed the comfort of the room, cleanliness and comfortable beds. Our access to the ski lifts was spectacular. The the food at the café and the tavern was great! Awesome service! Such friendly people! Would love to stay here again when we come back!
3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

First time at Bolton and I am very impressed. Nice cozy inn at the lifts. Place is well cared for and you can tell that whoever is running this place has things under control. There was a major water main break which is obviously a disaster but the inn was extremely responsible and communicative. Free bottled water, great signage and a letter under the door at 2am. Everyone took it in stride and we had a great day of skiing. This place has such a positive vibe. Rooms are nice, big screen tv, nice ski paintings, soft sheets, comfortable bed, hot shower.
John, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The indoor pool was not available. The outdoor pool was not heated. The activity center closed too early on a Saturday at 5pm for those of us seeking family entertainment beyond dinner hours. Aside from that, the rooms were very nice and well kept. A/C worked great and so did the heating. The staff were very pleasant. On the whole, a satisfying stay at the Inn at Bolton Valley and to boot, a beautiful Vermont worthy wood and mountain view.
