Amazing. Couldn't find a room in stevenage anywhere so booked a cabin here, jumped in a 20 minute uber and had a lovely night in a cute little cabin. Ace. Top quality...you know it's good when they have those metal tea bags :-) Lovely breaky. Coming back with my wife.

This was very much a last minute job, we were travelling home from 2 days in that London and were worn-out. This was in fact the only place we could find that wasn't either booked up or cost outrageous money. Although, the directions link on the Expedia app took us to the middle of nowhere so we had to phone the lovely people at the hotel for help. When we got there we were surprised it was a much bigger and better place than we expected. Would definitely go again.

Lake Hut: stunning, peaceful setting.

We stayed here for a wedding with 2 small furry friends and had such a great break. The lake hut is set in a truly stunning location. The Al fresco tubs (note: not a hot tub) was a wonderful place to enjoy the surroundings. The lake hut itself is pretty small but fine for 2 people for a short break. If we’re in the area again then I wouldn’t hesitate on staying here again.

Tewinbury Farm has always been my go to when going to see family in the Welwyn Garden/Hertford area. The rooms are a good size, modern and immaculate. Their housekeeping staff do a great job. Several options for food throughout the day. Full English breakfast buffet every morning at the "cowshed" made for a great start to each day. Will stay there again and highly recommend.

Stayed for a wedding, the venue was fantastic. Lots of different bars and areas so be in. Very eco friendly very picturesque and beautiful surroundings. The only thing that wasn’t 10/10 was our pillows but that is personal preference I just prefer a firmer pillow. We stayed in the shepards hut and it was so cute and a lovely view to wake up to!

I did really enjoy my stay at the Riverside Lodge however next time I would probably look to book the Lakeview and spend that little bit more. The lodge did lack moveable space, there is no space in the bedroom or showerroom, you barely have anywhere to walk and change. The facilities basic, the look basic, although clean. The hot tub was lovely however the water gets dirty quickly. I could not find a net to remove flies that generate as the side cover comes off however there is plenty of wood to keep it lovely and warm and they get it ready for you each day. The outside is lovely however the river view is blocked by overhanging trees which is a shame. The breakfast was lovely although the eggs at the buffet cart had too much butter and this ruined them for me.

Stayed in the little huts at the top of the hill. Really well kitted out. Underfloor heating so the cabin warmed up fast. Would be good if you had dogs because you can just let them straight out. Evening meal was really nice. Could have eaten everything off the menu. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Didn't use the gym but it has enough for you do do a work out and get a sweat on. Would stay here again.

Was so amazing i had to go back a month later!

Honestly cannot speak highly of Tewinbury Farm Hotel and The lake view cabins they are such an amazing experience for just unwinding and having nature just on your doorstep. The cabin has everything you want, the bath tub is great to relax in and overlook the lake and then once your relaxed there head to the bed and enjoy a very comfortable bed. Already wanting to go back there and the staff went above and beyond giving me the Cornflower room which is the room i stayed previously and requested to stay there again which they fulfilled. Book the room now you wont regret it!
