Cadre charmant et reposant, je recommande vivement

C'est la troisième fois que nous séjournons à ma herissonniere. Comme d habitude les hôtes se sont montrés charmant et disponible. Les lits sont confortables. Le cadre est insolite, hors du temps et extrêmement reposant. Demandé au propriétaire de vous raconter l histoire du pigeonnier...

Une expérience pleine de charme

Notre hôte était très gentil, soucieux qu’on ne manque de rien et proactif. Les lieux sont authentiques, la deco est chaleureuse, le confort du couchage de qualité. L’ensemble peut paraître un peu déroutant mais nous transporte dans une autre époque qui rend l’expérience unique ! Je recommande.

Accueil très sympathique dans cette chambre d'hôtes. Nous étions déjà venus il y a longtemps, nous n'avons pas été déçu. Le cadre est magnifique et calme. L'hote est particulièrement sympathique et propose un large choix de breuvage artisanaux et locaux.

For the price €103, it absolutely wasn't worth it. It is situated in the middle of nowhere. You have to arrange your breakfast yourself for the next morning. The only thing you get in the evening before, is a bag with bread and some marmelade. The fridge is hardly filled and you have to make your thea or coffee yourself. Besides the awfull smell in the sleepingroom it is an accomodation far beyond nowadays standards. We thought we had become in a horror movie of the worst kind.

je ne suis pas satisfait de mon sejour heureusement que nous sommes rester qu une nuit meme pas un verre d eau dans la chambre mais le pire s est la salle de bain meme pas un evrier pour se laver les dents

Beautiful old house

Lovely welcome, a little history, comfortable bed. Great to meet other guests at breakfast to chat round large table. Well placed for local towns etc.

Lovely stay.

We booked a room and realised when we arrived that we had a whole cottage! With a round bed! There was everything that you needed for a great stay. The local village is about 20 drive and not many restaurants around but the cottage had everything to cook for yourself.

La Hérissonnière

Nous avons été enchantés de notre séjour à la Hérissonnière ; l'accueil du propriétaire, de sa femme et de leur fils a été très chaleureux. Le lieu - manoir du XVème siècle - est magnifique, au beau milieu d'un parc paysagé en libre accès ; nous sommes à moins de 25 km de Lisieux et à 1 heure de 30 de Bayeux et la côte (Arromanches, les plages du débarquement, etc), Caen. Les environs recèlent des lieux de promenade enchanteurs, bucoliques, et le propriétaire est disposé à nous renseigner et nous orienter en cas de besoin. La chambre est grande, charmante, lumineuse (orientée est-ouest, la lumière du levant et du couchant donne un charme particulier à la chambre) ; l'espace sanitaire (salle d'eau et toilettes privatives) est propre et spacieux. Nous recommandons très vivement La Hérissonnière comme lieu de séjour court (ou long!), tant l'impression d'être chez soi est agréable.

Lovely Place in the middle of forest.

Old house in the middle of the forest, felt like a house in the fairytail. Very special comparing to the regular places I used to stay, but the house was telling its stories in every room.
