Just a place to stay if you are not too picky

The staff were very helpful especially when there was a mistake from the Hotels.com booking. One of the room i booked cannot be flushed. Another room may have bed bugs as one of my uncle was scratching the whole night. And some of the guests staying there were rowdy in the middle of the night.

Worst stay of my life!!!

Worst place to stay. We stayed for 3 nights nov 3rd-nov 6th 2018. First night floor was wet and tv not working. They moved us to another room after an hour only to get a bed which would roll all over the place as it did not have stoppers. 3rd day we left after breakfast to return at midnight after touring to find an unclean room stinking with wet clothes and AC not working..We paid 19-20k INR through hotels.com. They did not compensate or even apologise for our tirade..

Needed an accommodation during move

Stay away from this hotel! Better sleep under the bridge They should call it dog hotel. Next door is a dog ....whatever The started barking at 5 in the morning and didn’t stop. Forgot to mention the rooster who also gave his best at 5am! We survived 1 night then checking out though pod two night. No refund for the second night, we’ll didn’t expect something else. I only choose it because I trusted the pictures. Bad decision.

Will never return.

The stair well smelt of urine. There was no hand soap in the barthroom, and none made available. Long waiting periods for staff at front desk. When the staff were there though they were friendly. The dressing table draw was beyond filthy. Can't help but feel short changed as it wasn't very much like the photos on the website.

Mould on bathroom sink. Exposed screws & holes in Wall were bed headboards were removed - posing risk of injury. Dim room lights. Staff maintained noisy pet dogs, & dog pound next to hotel were very noisy. Toilet rolls, bottled water, shampoo & body soap not regularly replaced. Noisy beer garden with loud music till we’ll past midnight. To at all restful as dogs start barking at 5am.

Stay away!

No towels before 6pm Wifi only works for most of rooms in corridors Infested with ants Everything seriously old and not working eg shower head wouldn't stay up on pole, iron just leaked water and didn't heat up Only one clothes hanger Safe didn't work Only one English TV channel Terrible cleanliness...mold on WC ceiling Live band played until after 11.30pm for just 2-3 guests listening when I had a 4am taxi to airport Dog kennels right next door and serious barking from all dogs starts at 4.30am daily Staff totally ambivalent to customer service - 'breakfast' starts at 7am but after a night of cheering to football between 2-4am Keeling residents awake...no kitchen staff before 7.30am with no apology...late for meetings! This hotel is in a terrible state..looks good in the pics but not for business travelers at the moment unless happy with a one star experience..,apparently a rolling refurbishment is underway... Which is their defense for everything...but I saw no evidence of that

Bad customer service, room condition can be better

1st) Air condition in hotel room was not working, it was very hot and humid. Thus, I requested to change room and I waited an 1hr. 2nd) After hotel was booked through online in expedia, I need to call the hotel for some enquires. I could hardly hear the staff as the line was too noisy, he said he would call back. But he didnt. Few days later, I called the hotel a girl staff picked up. Enquired about the catering. I told her I've booked a cater from outside, so where will the cater be placed? She said the cater can just place it infront of the bbq pits, just have to book a bbq pit with the amount of S$25 will do. Im ok with it, and i asked her to go ahead and book the pit first. On chk-in date, a male staff assisted me. I double checked about the room request etc. The staff told me there were no request on my booking, not even 1 as i did mentioned a few to the female staff through the phone. So nvm, he said he will just take note from there. 3rd) The buffet catering I booked came later on, while I was busy preparing. My friend helped me attend the cater movers instead. I asked my friend about what's going on? As the movers aren't setting up the buffet yet, and waited my friend talking to hotel boss. I got shocked hearing. That boss mentioned to pay S$330 for a rental venue?!(Aside the amount for buffet) My friend just paid it using his cc. I went to find the boss, but he is not ard. I gave the staff my hp no. so he could call me bk, but no response since.

It's an acceptable stay. Room is ok but you cant connect to wifi when you close the door. The staffs are very helpful.

You get what you pay for

This hotel was not terrible, but I wouldn't return. The staff was polite and efficient. The property was a bit rundown and had very basic amenities and appointments. The pool is in the back and there is no lounge chairs, so we didnt bother with it. I heard it next to a kennel and I heard that other people heard barking all night, but I never heard a single bark. The room was minimal. Tv, desk and chair, 2 twin beds. There was no toilet paper and when we requested some, it was never sent to our room (thank goodness we had some wet wipes with us). There is a little outdoor bar, but we never saw anyone there and when we tried to get a drink at 5pm, they told us it was closed. This place is just fine if all you need is a place to sleep, but you could find something better for the same price.

2 weeks vacation

We booked for staycation and overall I would rate 5/10.  we were very happy the manager upgraded us to a bigger room with a view for free as we are staying longer.  the restaurant staff and manager are normally freindly and accommodating.  The breakfast was not Many choices but still okay. Annoying thing was they dont have phone inside the rooms. We always had to Walk downstairs to the reception for any request or small matters. Whats written on The mini restaurant menu is not always available, much Better if you order your food somewhere else. Housekeeping was okay for the first 2 times. We didnt have room cleaning for certain days because we mostly stayed in the room. But in the days we were Out and requested for cleaning, they always forget something, mostly  floor towels and water bottles. We always have to go down and request agin as there is no phone in the rooms.  they didnt replace the mattress cover Even if you put it on the floor and show there is dirt on it. Be wary, as they dont really change your bed sheets and linen. Trust me, they don't!!! They would only flip it back and hide the dirt. Toilet was not properly cleaned. Very lazy housekeepers!!! The hotel room and the nature atmosphere is good,  but with this kind of housekeeping service, I would not recommend to my friends. Definitely Not recommended for long staycation. Never again.

Unclean rooms with poor services

This is definitely one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The photos posted on the website don't reflect the shabby and dreary rooms. They have no decor and style these are plain rooms with bland decor. The rooms where not cleaned regularly even after leaving the sign on the door for cleaning. The service staff was callous and did not respond to requests timely at all. There was no phone in the room, so you have to climb down the stairs to ask for any service at the reception. The location of the hotel is next to a dog training center so don't be surprised waking up to dogs barking 4 am in the morning. The barking goes until 10 am or maybe longer. The breakfast is included in the service but it is the most mundane breakfast ever with plain omelete, toasted bread and two chicken sausages everyday we stayed there- and we stayed for 4 days. Th trash from the rooms and hallway was not removed for 4 days!! I wont recommend this place to my friends at all.

Good weekend

Love the surrounding area, especially if you want to play futsal. BBQ pit was okay plus the pool is good for playing with your kids if no other guest go to the pool. Have fun playing/swim at the pool at night. If you love dogs, the barking sound will never bother you. Take a ride from the train station, stop 2 station away at Beauty World & you will find food paradise there especially Al Azhar restaurant ( the food is the Bomb ).

Not as good as it looks

This is not a boutique hotel - it's just an old, traditional style hotel in a fairly convenient location. It's close to the MTR and the casual dining options of 'The Grandstand' in an otherwise out of the way suburban area. This is not a high end hotel, and probably overcharges for what it is. The furniture and fittings are very ordinary, although it has high speed WiFi. The staff are nice enough, but not efficient, and my room was not cleaned in the 3 days I stayed. Other guests were very noisy and the hotel staff did little about this. This noise is incredible, because my room had no windows! A free drink card was presented upon arrival, and a non-alcoholic beverage was offered even though a cocktail was stated on the card! I'm unsure the barman was actually trained, and he was certainly inexperienced. Would I stay here again? NO. There are many fine places to stay in Singapore - this is not one of them!
