The location is amazing. 5mins to the ferries and 15 minutes to the Galata Tower and 25 Minute Walk to be at the Bazaar over the Galata Bridge with an amazing view. Stayed here for the second time, the street is lively, full of restaurants and bars and very safe. Hotel staff was very nice and a good room with a good bathroom :) Breakfast is rather small but always fresh and there are options all around. :)

Loved this hotel and would stay again if back in Istanbul. Rooms are lovely and location is spot on for bars and restaurants (though most sightseeing is across the river). We stayed at this hotel from December 30 to January 1, and thankfully, not any longer because it was extremely loud due to a nearby club or bar—I had trouble sleeping. The front desk mentioned it was because of New Year, but I have my doubts. Overall, the staff is friendly, the beds are comfortable, and the hotel is clean.

Great hotel in a lively area conveniently near two tram stops (Tophane and Karakoy) as well as Katakoy ferry port. There is no shortage of restaurants of all variety, charming cafes and shops. The hotel staff are pleasant and helpful. Our junior suite was modern, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. One thing to note: hotel is on a pedestrian only street but they allow taxis up until 10 AM / noon. Afterwards, you can get off at the nearby gas station and walk for 90 seconds to the hotel.

Our stay at the Nabu Hotel was exceptional. We enjoyed every single moment of our stay. The staff was very friendly and willing to help with any questions. The room was very comfortable. They are very large and you have plenty of space to make yourself comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, I felt like I was on clouds. The location was also very convenient. You can walk to very good places and the ferry and tram is less than a 5 minute walk away. There are some very chill restaurants and bars around the hotel. After a culturally packed day in the city, we went "home" (the Nabu felt like home), rested a bit and went just around the corner for another drink to end the day right. I will definitely come back to the Nabu when I book my trip to Istanbul. Thank you so much for the perfect stay!

For us the hotel was in the perfect location, many coffee shops, bars, and restaurants on the streets surrounding the hotel. Extremely close to 2 tram stations, and 2 ferry ports and walkable to Galata/ istiklal, and the Galata bridge. The staff, especially the gentleman that works late night was very kind and helpful throughout our trip. I read ahead that it was noisy and I’d have to say that’s my only complaint. I thought by upgrading to the junior suite we’d be further from the bar/club mentioned in the reviews, but it ended up being a top floor/rooftop club so at midnight the dj played on the 4th floor about 20 ft from our room. I imagine this room gets the most noise and it’s not as noticeable throughout the rest of the hotel. But even on a Saturday night, we woke up once and fell back asleep quickly with ear plugs. It was a fun memory seeing the people in the bar having such a good time dancing, and with an hour or 2 it was quiet again.
