Perhaps as someone who was born in Germany and now lives in the US, I especially appreciate the 1,000-year-old historic foundation combined with first-class modern amenities. There's nothing like it in the US-- it makes for a one-of-a-kind unforgettable treat. Staff was extremely kind and attentive, food outstanding, the location is absolutely superb, and my suite with front row views into old town was incredibly charming. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at and an experience I will never forget.
