Troutbeck Inn is a gem of a place. The owners are lovely and we had a good laugh with them. The food is second to none and is locally sourced and cooked fresh. We stayed for 2 nights in September whilst walking around the Ullswater area and the location is superb. Right by a main road for good access but without an intrusive noise from the road. I'm sure we will be staying here again if we plan more walks in future.

Excellent stay at the Troutbeck Inn. Had two rooms which were both first class. Ate there on the evening and could only describe our meals as top quality. I can’t praise the Troutbeck enough. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

Fantastic weekend at the Troutbeck. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The Inn is locatex just off the A66 so access was easy but far enough away not to hear any traffic. The food was excellent with generous portion sizes and, definitely, good value for money.
