Perfect for my overnight stay. My bed was against the window on Highway side so a little noisy (as expected) so had earplugs, no noise at all from pub (Monday) meaning a good night's sleep.

the accomodation was clean and tidy and well organised, until a family came the same night, and didn't respect others privacy, plus letting their alarm ring on for 10 mins at 6 am waking everybody else, who wished to sleep in.

The ladies at the bar where really friendly! I got flooded out from home and had milk so they offered to put it in the big fridge for me! So a huge thank you! The only thing that needs doing is the cutlery draw and shelves in the guest shared kitchen needs cleaning but other than that the rooms were clean and comfortable! At least I could have a warm shower and a bed to sleep in as I was so wet from the rain and not being able to get home! The best price in town.

The room was small but good enough for 1 nights. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well equipped and breakfast was ok. Staff was friendly. We stayed in room nr 6 and only had 1 shower and 1 toilet for at least 6 rooms. And when there was someone in the shower you couldn't reach the sink to wash you hands. It would have been nice to have more room to eat your self made dinner. In the kitchen were only 2 chairs at a bar table and in the room wasn't any chair or table.

Great price, clean and comfortable family rooms!

This pub hotel is a great stop over for the family for the Mackay to Brisbane drive. Price was good, family room was huge, clean and felt like sleeping in a great big Queenslander. Female toilets and showers are refurbished and looking fresh. Pub directly downstairs provided a good meal with Pizza and huge pub meals available. The beer on tap was cold and the outdoor playground was loved by my kids. Stayed here twice now on our adventure to brisbane and back. Also a great coffee shop just down the road in gin gin with toasties & ok coffee for the morning.

The main problem is the noise, even with earplugs the noise from the road outside was terrible, making it near impossible to sleep to recoup from the drive. You need to park your vehicle on the street if you want to leave before 10am. The shared bathroom was very inconvenient and had a dodgy light, so all business required a torch. The bed was overly firm and to just fill your kettle required a hike to the other end of the property to access the kitchen. The 112 dollars to stay was overpriced since i got a much better accommodation in Rockhamptom for 90 with all facilities in the room and very quiet. I unfortunately chose this accommodation as it was the only one available around the area for a reasonable price,but i could not recommend it to anyone. I will never stay there again.

Hotel is gelegen aan de A1, de hoofdweg om van Gympie naar Cairns en verder te reizen. Afgezien van de nachtelijke uren behoorlijk wat vrachtverkeer. De kamers zijn wat aan de kleine kant, maar schoon. Gedeelde bad/toiletruimte is ook schoon, zou een upgrade kunnen gebruiken. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is ok.
