4/10 Fair

Not very clean, no wi fi, breakfast very poor, no house keeping same towels all of stay only 1 toilet roll, no bins emptied no stair lift in situ as stated extremely not suitable for elderly or limited ability’s and not happy about the slug in the room that had crawled all over the suitcase, my handbag and anything else it fancied. Certainly would not recommend to anyone very dissatisfied!
Philip, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

Upon check in our room didnt have toilet roll, it had only 1 coffee sachet, no sugar no milk etc. The rooms are grubby with filthy floors. The bed creaks but isnt too uncomfortable. We had a balcony room but only 1 of us could use it as it was so small with barely enough room for 1 chair, it also felt unsafe due to the camber. The shower pressure was non existent, it chooses its own temperature to trickle at and the cubicle is tiny. You need to unplug the small kettle snd carry the whole thing, cord and all, to fill it up. The tv has no channels, every station shows no signal. Theres a funky dirty grease smell but that could be coming from the kfc across the road. No bar facilities.
Tricia, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Although it was a busy Bank holiday weekend, the hotel was quiet, making for a peaceful nights sleep. The view from our top floor balcony was wonderful, the room was small but clean and tidy. A great, enjoyable and memorable 2 days.

Good overnight stay

The room was clean and tidy. It looked liked it had recently been refurbished. No problems with check in (it's says it is unstaffed and they send you a key code but it was staffed when we got there). At check out no one was about and no visible place to return keys so I just left them at the desk.
Alex, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Horrendous

Firstly, we arrived and there was no parking despite booking with parking, after about 45 minutes of customer services the receptionist came out and we had the leave our car in the alley way, this did not feel secure. Room was filthy, no furniture that was fit for purpose (old broken and not what was pictured on the advert). The windows were broken so wouldn’t close, which we normally wouldn’t mind but the room next to us sat on their balcony all day chain smoking and coughing. The shower hardly worked so no hair washes. Rooms around us were very loud- dogs marking, talking load, thudding foot steps (day and night- I mean almost all night!) we expect some noise but this was horrendous. Breakfast was shocking to the point we didn’t bother. Customer service was transparent and no where to be seen to raise any complaints.

staff was friendly on first meeting we was in room 16 the room was clean and tidy but the radiator was on full but couldn't turn the radiator down there was no thermostat the main sealing lights didn't come on had to use the table lamp then couldn't sleep as the radiator was banning and gurgling so loudly all night didn't see any staff to tell them when we left

We had no parking even though I requested it on line when booking , had no milk or Toilet roll in room had to go down to reception to ask , then when booking in was told we had to pay £50 deposit on arrival, still haven’t be paid back yet
jane, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Would not recommend. Travelled 3 hours for 2 nights leaving after the 1st night. Room basic felt like a hostel no hotel staff not welcoming shower terrible no blinds or netting just curtains so had to be drawn as other building looking in bed creaky supported by make shift wooden legs. If you’re happy for roof over head for a night this is a place for you. Complained and would not offer a refund or anything!
Tracy, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Room not cleaned properly. Deposit was not mentioned i advert . Nobody on reception.
Dale, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

The beds was freshly made, but thats all i would say, the room itself wasnt or hadn't been cleaned in a while with the build up of dust and particles of crumbs that was under the chairs and beds, no hot water facilities, no toilet roll..... a total disgrace for the price they are charging, would never go there again....... if i hadn't of had my granson with us, i would have been tempted to sleep in my car...... was awake most of the night due to uncomfortable beds and itching all night, so im hoping they didn't have bed bugs...... if you have sense avoid this place like the plague......
Julie, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

One night only

We were only there for one night, when we arrived there was nobody on reception and we waited quite a while before anyone came , our room was two flights of stairs although they did offer to carry our bags. When we got to the room it was quite cool as windows were open and I couldn’t close it properly, tv had no signal. There was no loo roll on the bathroom, the light on the ceiling didn’t work. The shower head was quite blocked so the water was very slow and only coming out half the holes in the head, but because we were only staying for one night I didn’t complain, if I was staying longer I would expect all of the above to be sorted asap.
