Great hotel, but room was very small. No stopper for the bathroom sink, so we were unable to wash out any clothes. Great, quiet, off the beaten path neighborhood. We loved going to the square in the evenings where all the locals gather & the children play. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Service in the hotel was excellent.

Amazing hotel, welcoming staff.

Hotel staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was high quality and made with fresh ingredients. Room was excellent and very clean with a large comfortable bed. Hotel wasnt too far away from the main attractions. 15 minutes walk maximum. Overall, a great place to stay. I would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at the Santa Croce Hotel! It was an easy walk from the train station, but felt removed from all the hustle and bustle. Every single member of the staff that we encountered from the front desk to the bartender and staff at breakfast were so friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous and had great amenities and was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious. If we are ever lucky enough to return to Venice, we will absolutely stay here again.

This was our first time in Italy and we started in Venice. Santa Croce not only had the most beautiful accommodations, their staff was incredible. We arrived late on our train and the gentleman arranged a dinner at a local restaurant and then walked us to our location, so we wouldn’t get lost. He recommended other amazing things to do on our trip and his food choices were even better. I highly recommend staying here. It is a slice of heaven in the most beautiful city. My husband and I will be coming back and not staying anywhere else! Also, incredibly quiet and amazing breakfast.

We had a nice room for 2 nights at Santa Croce Boutique Hotel in Venice. The hotel staff was friendly, and Ricardo was particularly helpful. It's a bit on the outskirts, so a bit of walk, but also quieter and more peaceful than the hotels more in the thick of things. Best hotel breakfast in Italy

This hotel was a gem in a quiet area of the beaten path. Farther away from tourist traps. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Staff were kind and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was fresh with a decent variety. I would recommend arrangements in advance to aid with luggage if traveling with large suitcases as bridge traverses were challenging. I would stay here again!

A wonderful,special little gem

A beautiful hotel positioned in a great part of Venice tucked away from the crowded areas yet all within a 10 minute walk. A chic, understated, quiet, small hotel within easy walking distance from the train station and near a vaporetto stop. The property is immaculate. Staff are courteous, warm, and helpful. Rooms are elegant, comfortable and well-maintained. Great showers! Breakfast had everything one could want. The neighborhood is very desirable since it is well off the tourist track but easy walking distance to other parts of the city. I will definitely return for my next trip to Venice. Thank you!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary and stayed here. The entrance, lobby, courtyard, the breakfast area and the rooms are clean and you immediately feel right at home. Special thanks to Marco, the breakfast staff, bar team and housekeeping for allowing us to rest and enjoy Venice. Rooms are beautiful, soundproof and have all the amenities you need. The room was wonderful, quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing. Their quality of service was impeccable. They sent us welcome emails before we arrived and offered to help with anything we needed and provided thoughtful experience suggestions. The breakfast was varied, filling and lovely. The hotel is about a six minute walk from the train and vaparetto station, 20 minutes to the Basilica. We speak minimal Italian and all the staff spoke English so that was never an issue. There is a grocery store around the corner, shops and restaurants nearby. All in all, the stay was heavenly and I can't wait to go back again!

Too much to do in two days,

With the exception of finding the place, pretty much everything else was awesome. We used Apple Maps and the update rate didn’t allow for the narrow streets. And, it didn’t take us to the hotel. Obviously, not the hotels fault. We were disappointed the hotel didn’t offer better dining options. Federico, the guy at the desk, went out of his way to take us to a very nice restaurant, Federico also arranged a private boat ride through the Grand Canal. 160 Euro and worth every penny. Would we go back? Definitely.
