Hotels in The Old Point

"My wife and I drove down to South Carolina to see our son graduate from the Marines. Our hotel was located in Hilton Head which was very nice and had plenty of shopping also the drive wasn't too far from restaurants. If going to watch your child graduate from the Marines beware that this location is about a 45 minutes to an hour drive from Parris Island depending on traffic. We had read the reviews and people were saying that it was 15 minutes from Parris Island and that's because they have another hotel which is very close to Parris Island but either way the stay ended up being very nice. The hotel was really clean and the breakfast was amazing and the customer service was top-notch. Each and every day no matter who was at the front desk they were always pleasant and gave us advice and directions to places nearby. Another thing even though the hotel was pet friendly everything was so quiet and peaceful at all times. Check out was really easy and everything went great. Also I want to thank also want to thank hotels.com for such a great place to stay at a budget price. If you're on a budget this is definitely the place to stay. You won't be disappointed."

"This is a nice hotel. Definitely a step up from the former Hilton. One suggestion is that it would be nice if they made available some Level 2 EV chargers in their parking area(s). It would be convenient for EV drivers, an additional source of revenue for Hilton, and would probably increase bookings. "

"Convenient with off street parking. Management extremely friendly and helpful Room was fine but would benefit by substituting a comfortable chair for ( or 2) for the wood bench. An ice bucket for each room would be a good low cost addition "

"Jennifer helped our family so much and I appreciate her kindness, compassion, and helpfulness. I had an issue an at different hotel and called her at 6am desperately needing a place to rest after the rough night at the previous hotel. She listened to my whole story and got me in a room in a flash. I am so grateful that you have such an outstanding caring employee. Jaynelle and Lashonda were also at the desk when I arrived. They also listened to my issues and were compassionate. Everyone I interacted with at the front desk were friendly and caring. Thank you everyone here for allowing me enjoy our time in Beaufort while we picked up new Marine! Please recognize these employees for them going above and beyond. Thank you so much! ❤️"
