"Grand, historic charm characterize the experience here. The hotel was built in 1893, so the building had its quirks, but these add to the distinctive atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Again the building is quite old, and our suite did not have a thermostat nor an exhaust fan in the bathroom, but it was comfortable nonetheless, as the ceiling fan and open windows did the trick. "

"We had a room with a bathroom. Very nice, with a big bed. Breakfast was great and happy hour in the afternoon a pleasant surprise. Nice location adjacent to a hiking trail head. We were there in mid October, the super warm pool was hot-tub-like!! Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended. "
