Hotels in Tahiti

"This hotel in right across the street from the Ferry Port. Of course being at a port is not always the best neighborhood. It was ok but the hotel is very nice and we certainly did not feel unsafe even when just the girls went out together. The problem I had with the hotel was that the bathroom was very dark, painted all black and had two light bulbs in the center of the ceiling. It was impossible to put any makeup on in there. There was a full length mirror in the room but still not great light there either. The other issue I had was that there was a hair dryer in the bathroom but no plugs! There are a couple of plugs in the bedroom but not one near the mirror. The room was very big and had everything, Micro, fridge, stove, sink and more. It had multiple glass doors so there was no problem with any noise from the ferry. I think this is a great hotel, if you don't use makeup or have to style your hair with help of a hair dryer. They had nice a breakfast but the eggs and meats that should have been hot were not at all."

"I did not have breakfast at the hotel. The infinity pool with the swim up bar was very nice & I enjoyed snorkeling in the lagoon “pool.” Be sure to watch sunset at the seaside bars I too about 40 pictures, it was so beautiful. The hotel was very nice to accommodate us with a 5pm checkout for $50, after we found out for flight out would be at 2am the following morning. We did not expect to have an overnight in Tahiti, but we lucked onto the Te Moana & enjoyed our stay."

"Loved the bungalow for peaceful stay. Housekeeping was super attentive. Pool staff were exceptional and friendly. Did not like the busy Sunday at the pools - too many young children taking over the area. Suggest an adults only pool since there are 2 on the property"

"Beautiful boutique hotel in downtown Pape’ete. Perhaps the best one there. I stayed in the one bedroom suite at the harbor end of my floor, which had a balcony off the front sitting area. I slept on the sofa and noticed that traffic noise started building by 4:30 am. The bedroom was removed from the noise, so likely no one else will be bothered by it."

"I can not say enough good things about Le Tahiti by Pearl. We loved the location on a black sand beach, the property grounds including the pool, the restaurant with its shows, the spacious and clean rooms with a large balcony facing the ocean, and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. We were there two days longer than anticipated because of a cancelled flight. The staff was so helpful in accommodating us. Many thanks for their help! I would highly recommend Le Tahiti and would love to come back for a stay! "
