"The room was clean and beautiful, and felt very new. The staff was pleasant. I am sensitive to noise, the front desk manager met my concern promptly and moved us to a quiet room at the end of the corridor. I wish we would’ve come earlier in the month, to have breakfast on the deck or sit on the chairs in front of the pool, or have time to do smores in the evening at the waterside. Also most hotel pools leave a foggy mess on the windows. The pool was warm without the fog. We went off season, likley there are more restaurant and breakfast choices on the menu during main season. I’d also suggest to have robes for the pool in the room, as there is no changing or shower at the pool. I was a bit surprised about a 50$ deposit at our arrival, I guess theft is a real concern here. "

"We went for our 36th wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have been happier with the lodge. It was a great weekend with all the lodge has to offer. The restaurants were fantastic and offers many activities including a small bowling alley and theater. "
