Old-world charm with cool twist

Beautiful building inside and out in a really great location for this vibrant hipster-ish area. Very helpful and competent staff. The wonderfully renovated rooms seem to be getting a little bit worn, but I’ll take that over boring any day. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location close to everything in a safe neighborhood. 5 minutes or less to Istiklal cd. The front desk is very helpful and has great customer service skills The property is very clean . I will return there for sure.

Our Host Basar made sure we received all the attention we required. During a long stay, it makes all the difference when someone personally oversees the general staff to make sure that all the little details are taken care of, so as to make our stay memorable. We will rebook here next time we come in Istanbul.

Cezayir Rooms offers a remarkable experience as they are situated within a beautifully restored Italian Opera Building, which holds a rich history. The staff members are exceptionally attentive and helpful. Moreover, the location of the hotel in Pera is unbeatable, as it is conveniently close to the tram and metro lines, as well as Istiklal Street and GalataPort. Without a doubt, we will choose to stay here again in the future!

The hotel is in a perfect location for many restaurants, bars, and shops in the city. You could quite easily spend most of your time in Beyoglu, but it’s also easy to use as a staging post for other parts of the city. It’s a 10 minute walk to Karakoy where you can get the trams and ferries to all the major tourist sites. The hotel itself is housed in a beautiful Italian art nouveau building, with staff, such as Baris, being friendly and on hand for any of your needs. It was perfect for a getaway with my partner :) I would definitely stay here again!

Cezayir @ Pera

Cezayir Rooms are amazing, being in a very old, but nicely renovated Italian Opera Building; staff are extremely helpful and the breakfast is one of the best I had in Turkey, and finally, best location in Pera, being close to both tram and metro lines as well as Istiklal Street.. Will definitely stay again!

Not only is the location of Cezayir Rooms amazing and the atmosphere created by the architecture and interior design absolutely wonderful, but we also gotta give a shoutout to Murat and Omer for taking such good care of us. They greeted us with a warm welcome when we got there, and gave us some super helpful tips and assistance throughout our stay. Big thanks to them. The building of Cezayir Rooms Hotel was built in 1901 as a school for the Italian Workers Association's children. The architecture and the history are impressive. High ceilings and contemporary oriental mix interiors give a great feeling. The artistic vision is attractive. The staff is young, kind, and natural. The view from the back rooms has an amazing view of the historical island. I suggest Cezayir Rooms for those who are looking for a real Istanbul experience.

It wasn't what I expected, but really had a good stay. A building historical building from 1901. But clean and big rooms. Close to everything. Safe area and close to everything. We want to thank Murat especially of his service and availability 24/7. Taxi from and to the airport. Carrying the luggage. So especially our gratitude to him and the other employees at the door. The info states free airport shuttle but that is false. They wanted 60 eur to send a car for pickup at IST airport and the same to return. The place was very poorly remodeled with wires exposed and repairs very evident.
