Relaxing stay
The host was gracious and helpful. Wifi was weak but workable. Great location and a short drive down the road to a wonderful Indian restaurant.

A small B&B along the road. We stayed in a small room with twin beds. Beds were really comfy, the best beds during our roundtrip actually. The road outside is a bit noisy but not too bad. The owner is nice and served a very good breakfast - but note that breakfast is not included in the price which wasn't clear when I booked.

Warm, Friendly & Welcoming
Host very warm and welcoming.
Nice location.
Good breakfast to set you up for the day ahead, would have liked more coffee, but in all fairness, I should have asked. Bed was lovely and comfy good shower, nice view over the garden. Nothing too much trouble.
Would definitely use this BnB again, good location for exploring the area.

Average one - only for a night ok
Didnt feel welcome, room was ok but dark. Ok for a night if you are on a transit but if you are looking for a pleasant journey to stay look for another one.

Quirky but great.
If what you are looking for is a boring, soulless establishment where every room is the same, like you get in a Holiday Inn, Travelodge or Premier Inn then this is not for you. What you do get is a personal service from a friendly couple who know their stuff and make you very welcome. This is a 350 year old cottage where every room is different but nonetheless exceptionally clean and comfortable. Plus the breakfasts are excellent and cater for all tastes, even non carnivores.

Absolutely charming B&B. Paula was very welcoming and friendly. The cottage was immaculate. The breakfast was wonderful and freshly cooked. It is an ideal location for sightseeing. it is well signposted from the main road, but less well signposted on the property itself. The signs are only really visible as you drive down to the main road.
Vine cottage is the first property on the left as you pull off the A390.
I would recommend this B&B and would happily use it again.

Great!
If you’re expecting corporate accommodation, don’t stay here, however, if you want a traditional B & B, we couldn’t recommend this place more. Paula and Simon are superb hosts - genuine and down to earth with all the time in the world to chat and talk about the many flora and fauna in their garden. The accommodation is exactly what you would expect from a quirky house. The breakfast was the best we have had bar none. All sourced locally, and of high quality. Ask for anything and it will be achieved 😊. God bless them both.

Overpriced B&B, with very cramped rooms
The room and bathroom were extremely cramped, and accessible by steep and awkward stairs. Also, the cottage is right by a busy main road, and the traffic noise made sleeping difficult.
Our room wasn't cleaned, allegedly because of covid rules (which didn't seem to affect the other places we stayed on our holiday). The sitting room was also closed to guests.
We left after two days, even though it meant sacrificing the final day's payment. The next place we stayed had bedrooms and bathrooms twice the size, and cost £80 compared to the £125 a night at Vine Cottage.
Our hostess claimed that the website made it clear that the cottage was not suitable for anyone with mobility issues; However, that information was not obvious on it; it even took our hostess a couple of minutes to find it!
No complaints about the breakfast, which was very good, with home made jam.

Nice cosy place
The owners were very friendly. A cosy place, room was clean slightly dated. The room my wife and I was in had signs of an old leak on ceiling, some repairs needed but nothing serious. Both of us found the bed a little soft for our liking. There are no restaurants close by within easy walking distance, but there are plenty of choices by car within 10 - 20 mins.
