We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable and clean, a good size, well furnished, with effective and quiet a/c. The breakfast was good quality and well organised. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Location directly above Marble Arch tube station is very convenient and a view over Hyde Park, if you have a room on the right side, live music in the bar. and restaurant makes it a great place to stay in London.

I stayed here in February this year and while the hotel itself was lovely, the location great and a reasonable price for its location, there some niggles with service and the lifts that meant i gave it 3 stars. I am delighted to report that on this second visit the feedback Gave to the hotel directly has been taken onboard and all the issues I had were addressed. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and you would be hard pressed to find a comparable hotel in a central location cheaper.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Cumberland. It is very conveniently located in walking distance to a lot of cute neighborhoods such as Marylebone and of course Oxford Street shopping. As a family of 4 we were happy to find a room with 2 double beds to share. We used room service which was prompt and the food okay. We also tried the breakfast buffet and while everyone was very accommodating to some food restrictions the food itself was not worth the $25 per person. Sadly, the lobby is not inviting and left us with a bad vibe: it’s huge, busy and loud, the lighting weird which left an unpleasant vibe.

The hotel is lovely and in a great location. Clean room, quiet. My only complaint is mommy has a very nasty smell. We heard others complain and the staff said it was from waxing the floors but it smelled the two days we were there. Very gross smell. Otherwise lovely hotel!

Cannot fault location, so central, little bit more care needed in the housekeeping dept, coffee and tea not replaced every day, coffee table not wiped down, operating the toilet flush was frustrating and shower hose had a life of it's own if you didn't hold it .
