We stayed here for one night on our way back home. It was a throwback to the old days of accommodation. We enjoyed the friendly welcome, the basic comforts, the common room with open fire and ski-life decor plus the basic breakfast just like the old days of the ski trips of our youth. Outstanding accommodation if you don't mind a shared bathroom. That said, the bathrooms, male and female, were spacious and super clean with individual, lockable cubicles for privacy. Bedrooms are also spacious with extremely comfortable beds. Breakfast is provided and choice of continental or hot breakfast cooked to your order. The hosts could not have been more pleasant or helpful. We arrived very late at night and our rooms were ready and waiting with the keys inside and the heaters on to make them toasty warm on a cold night! For a budget conscientious family or individuals, you can't go past the Kookaburra Ski Inn at Jindabyne!
