Always stayed at Ark Apart Hotel. Staff are always excellent and always willing to help. I would highly recommend staying at the Ark, where everything located in canar wharf. Easy access to central london.

I had a couple of issues with my key card but they were sorted quickly. All staff were friendly and helpful. While I thought initially the DLR noise would bother me, the service finished as I was going to sleep and wasnt running at that weekend so i actually slept really well. Pool, steam room and sauna all really lovely

Photos of the rooms are very cleverly taken, actual rooms are much smaller than the photos suggest. We visited during June and couldn’t sleep either nights of our stay due to how hot it was. A fan is provided but no AC means it’s just uncomfortable in there. The bathroom is tiny, lucky I’m on 5’4, or you’re 6 foot plus there’s no chance you’ll fit in the shower. You get charged £100 on entry which will be refunded to you a week after your stay, this is only mentioned AFTER you’ve booked in. Be aware.

Stayed twice at the hotel prior with no issues. This time I must have received a room in a different area than before, because the railway was just outside with trains running constantly through the night. No option to close the window as is was 27 degrees outside that day so room was way to hot on arrival. Safe to say no sleep at all with the noise.

Overall the facilities and location were good for the price. Room didn’t look quite like the pictures, just the bare room no crockery etc. No lockers to put your things at the pool just had to leave at the side. Very loud every time a train goes past
