The staff was terrific. Being an older property it could use upgrading. The bathrooms were small and outdated, the bathtubs were dangerous. The tub should be replaced with walk in showers

Beautiful hotel filled with history! Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet! Stayed to celebrate my daughter’s wedding! The only thing lacking was information about the graduation parties and noise. Also construction work everyday and we stayed 10 nights. But other than that we enjoyed it!

This was a lovely place and very close to the Train Station. We love dining at this place is so special. We like everything. Lund is a lovely place to visit.

Property located in beautiful Lund town. However the hotel is dated and needs upgrade. The rooms have no Air conditioning which was an issue at night as it was warm in the room. Fortunately there is a fan available in the room which made it tolerable at night. No coffee/tea facility in room either. The breakfast spread was very good though.

This hotel is a real gem in the center of Lund. Close to all the shopping areas, restaurants, and the train station that brings you to Malmö in 15 minutes. We opted to stay longer in the Grand Hotel instead of spending a night in Malmo. The rooms are great, phenomenal breakfast buffet, and very friendly and helpful personnel.

It was truly a “grand” hotel” - stately, elegant, beautiful, meticulously maintained. Very impressive! The breakfast buffet was extraordinary- the best we have ever seen. Parking was safe and secure, but a bit difficult to locate.

This is a beautiful old hotel that has come down somewhat from its former grandeur - the rooms are small, with poorly structured showers, and ours, at least, had an unpleasant view. Breakfast was fine but not spectacular (powdered scrambled eggs, I think). The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. All in all, we had a very pleasant but not great stay.

One of my worst experiences

One of my worst experiences First impressions lasts. Unfortunately I was met by a non smiling receptionist whose name is called "Felicia" or something similar. My wife and I didn't feel welcomed by her. I got a very small room which is worn out on the 4th floor with a low cieling. My wife has fobia against small places. I went down again immediately to the receptionist and after struggling with the recpetionist "Felicia", I got a better room. She started asking me if I have moved anything in the room. I was away 5 minutes ago where we just saw the room and went down to her! By the way if you look at other reviews you will find someone else wrote about the same experience where he mentioned that she should find another job. I guess it the same receptionist which my wife and I experienced. The bed is 140 cm wide although it is a double room. It was very difficult for me and my wife to sleep in such a small bed. The TV was an old B&0 which is about 18-20 inches with only 7 Swedish channels. Again once more another disappointment. This hotel looks very nice from outside and is old fashioned but according to what you get relative to what you pay, it is not worth the money. There is tea and coffee in the lobby but the water was not hot enough. Bathroom is alo small. Towels are hanging very close to the toilet. Breakfast was okay but was lacking croissant. My wife got coffee served which was cold. I would never go there again!
