Covenant to restaurants and to downtown. Staff was friendly and promt. However toiletries were almost nonexistent. Pillows were scare and bed wasn't the best.

Wonderful experience!

Overall my stay was very nice and affordable but throughout my stay I did have a feeling that I may be stabbed at any second which all in all really made the experience everything it was. I would recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to spend a lot and have a great potentially life threatening experience!

This place it was the nastiest place have stay in my life. The room was way out of dated. The AC dirty and smells horrible, they have a metal bed that sounds like a damn car with bad suspension and no surprise the room was full of small roaches. I was planing to stay the hole night but didn’t even last two hours and to complete they front desk didn’t want to move me to another room or refund my money back no adding that the location suck and it’s bad. Don’t stay or waste your money on this place this is place that looks from the 1970’s and for only crack head people.

The difference in the smoking vs nonsmoking rooms @ this hotel is VAST. I had been pleasantly surprised by new ownership & management policies when I visited the area back in August. Being from Raleigh originally, I had not even placed this hotel on the list of options for more than 20 yrs. A short notice thing led me to book a 2 night stay last wknd & bc it was Fri & last minute, only smoking rooms were available. Ironically there was not an issue with the smell of the room…but @ 11:30am as I headed out for the day, I stopped by front desk & asked for a roll of tp & to have my room cleaned (I stripped bed & bagged trash. In addition to returning @ 4pm to find that no one had been to my room…I also experienced the following: No lamp shades No telephone No trash can 2 Broken ice machines Thin OBVIOUSLY stained towels OBVIOUSLY stained WHITE bedspread Killed 2 roaches Coffee (disgusting & NO creamer) 4 hr stretch w NO tv 2 old, flat, uncomfortable pillows ZERO give a sh%t from staff.
