Nice hotel, I had a comfortable stay. Very convenient to access the conference center and subway line. Breakfast is great and totally worth it. I was charged extra for access to the pool which felt absurd for a 5-star hotel - apparently it applies to reservations made through hotels.com.

Rooms I give a B-. A little dated. Beds excellent. Rest of hotel excellent. Right now the lift from the garage was broken, which they knew about but did not tell us, so we had to drag all our luggage up the stairs ourselves. Not that great. All in all however, we are very happy with the stay and would do it again. They do need to either fix the lift, or at least inform people about it, so they can leave the luggage up by the entrance instead.

We arrived very early for our check-in and was greeted by David who was very friendly and polite. He allowed to access the area while we waited for a room to be ready. All the staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Although the hotel is a little bit out from the city centre, the transport links are excellent. The metro station is less than 100 meters from the hotel entrance. If we every go back to Prague, we would definitely look at booking this hotel again.

Clean and Quiet

A very pleasant stay in a small room with a great city view. Breakfast was wonderful, all the food was top quality with lots of choices. Everything was clean and staff helpful. Room cabinetry and bath countertops still remain from the iron curtain era more than 30 years ago, and could use an update, though they are still fully functional. AC unit was most welcome on a 37 degree day but with large west-facing windows it couldn't keep up and we had to close the curtains. We were disappointed to discover the pool and spa had an extra fee of 20 euro per person, so we declined these nice activities that we had looked forward to.

I have stayed here quite a few times and always have a fantastic time. Although it seems to have been run down by the previous owners Corinthia we still had a fantastic time. Large clean room with lovely castle view, fantastic rooftop pool and spa with a view of the city, great staff nice breakfast and all for a reasonable price. The hotel is right next to the metro so has excellent links to the centre. Wish we had had the weather to match. Also miss the old bowling alley in the basement that was amazing.

Was okay hotel, but not 5*

Where do I even start with this review? Let’s begin with the fact that while this hotel is still officially rated 5*, it certainly doesn’t feel like it anymore. Perhaps it lived up to that standard when it first opened in the 80s, but now everything is dated and in need of serious renovation. The hotel is huge and was extremely busy during our stay in August—it honestly felt more like being in an airport than a hotel. The positives? Location: Excellent. The metro station is right next to the hotel, making it easy to get into the city. Staff: They were kind and professional, even when dealing with guests who were less than polite. I give them credit for that. The negatives? Air Conditioning: Old and centrally controlled, meaning you can’t adjust it yourself—frustrating in the summer heat. Breakfast: Crowded and underwhelming. It’s included in the price, so you won’t go hungry, but don’t expect anything special. Swimming Pool: Not included unless you book directly, and paying extra for it is far from cheap—definitely read the fine print. Parking: Free but very limited. During peak season, finding a space can be stressful. Would I stay here again? Unfortunately, no. The location and staff can’t make up for how outdated and overhyped this hotel feels today.

Went over new years and the food and view of fireworks was excellent. On the top floor you can see the whole cities fireworks. Only let down was that the spa had a limited capacity so wasn’t always available at the times I wanted. Great transport connections.

We thought it included the pool but that was extra. The GM was nice and let us use it. The train stop is right next to the hotel but when getting there you have to walk down and then up the stairs.

Friendly staff and try their best to make the customers satisfied. City view is great and the metro is direct there. However the facilities are too old for a 5 star hotel, which need a good renovation. Breakfast offers a lot but a fresh juice is missing.

Room was very comfortable and quiet. However, 2 mornings there was NO WATER for a couple of hours. Should have been given a discount. hotel said it was a city thing, but very inconvenient when you need to shower and prepare for the day. Food was average, and overpriced. I stayed at the Corinthia hotel for 6 days during the first half of October. Unfortunately, i had an emergency health situation (tooth infection) and was sick with the flu during most of my visit :(. The manager, Agata, and the rest of the staff were very helpful in providing me with medical assistance and transportation. Very professional and the hotel facilities are top notch as usual. The breakfast buffet is excellent. This was my third stay at the hotel and will consider it again on my next visit to Czech Republic. Highly recommended. Eddie
