Visiting our son.

Helpful friendly staff, who could all speak good English. Didn't opt for breakfast, as very expensive compared to other hotels. Before coming here we stayed in Potsdam, where the breakfast was about half the cost, so we included it in our stay. Very close underground link, which we used many times. Nice area, with a lot of sites within easy walking distance. This was our 2nd stay here & would recommend, but bathroom needs some TLC.

This was a lovely stay! The area was quiet (considering there was construction on the street) and the service was very warm and considerate. I would stay here again. A tiny bit overpriced for what it was

Charming staff. The room had these hidden knickknacks and clever ways to put away your clothes, which was great. They had bicycles that were easy to use and that was a great day renting them. Pretty good location, near museum Island, and nice restaurants along the canal. Overall, an outdated hotel. One of the two elevators was out of service so we found ourselves lucky if we didn’t have to wait a few minutes to get on the elevator. They didn’t bring us new coffee when they cleaned our rooms. They missed cleaning out room one of the four nights we were there. Coffee was instant coffee in a pouch which was OK. There was one packet of hot chocolate. Our toilet didn’t flush and the plumber wasn’t available until Monday when it was stopped on a Saturday. Luckily it went down on its own.
