Great location super friendly staff. The inn boast a wine hour and full breakfast with stay. The room was super comfortable and the staff was great. There is parking on-site which is great because we parked and walked everywhere. So convenient. Our new favorite in Carmel!

Lovely stay

Lovely room and very nice to have cheese and wine at 5.30pm. Excellent breakfast. A fire in our room was a welcome addition and the facilities were very comfortable. Only issue was that the floorboards above creaked a lot so we were disturbed by people moving around upstairs. Room 205 is next to the laundry and service area so it’s quite noisily early in the morning until later in the evening. Not the best room but all very comfortable.

I loved having a microwave and mini refrigerator in my room. Fireplace worked well and kept the room toasty. Bath tub was very comfy. Wasn't wild about having to reserve the key to the hottub, but since we all have different room keys, guess it's about the only way you could do it. Looking forward to receiving that scone recipe! Super friendly staff and a great area to be located. They definately did some remodeling in the exterior. We stayed off season. I could see it being an issue for me if I were here in the summer without airconditioning. To open a window would invite the outside street noise. The breakfast was thoughtful with fantastic fresh fruit which I loved. My drawback was the bathroom. The tub height is high. I could see this being an issue for an elderly person as it is easy to catch your foot coming in and out. Ideally the bathroom would have a walk in shower instead. Bathroom is cramped but most are in Carmel. I had no issue with anything else and loved the location.

The best

The inn is so charming and comfortable. It is right near everything in Carmel. Parking was included, as was an abundance of food. They served appetizers and wine on check in, then had soft drinks, coffee, and water available to guests in the lobby all day, put cookies out in the evening and served a full delicious breakfast. The best part though is the customer service. The two ladies at the front desk were so helpful, kind, and friendly. Everyone I encountered who worked at the inn was very welcoming. I will definitely stay again next time I go to Carmel.

Mycket trevligt hotell i Carmel. Rummet kändes nyrenoverat och fräscht. Fantastisk frukost, speciellt all den färska frukten och bären. De bjuder även på vin, kaffe, kakor och kex samt grönsaker med dip på eftermiddagen, väldigt trevligt. Skulle gärna bo där igen.

Awesome stay. Won't disappoint.

The Coachman's Inn was amazing. We called ahead to ask what the procedure was for checking in and what the parking was like and Lisa helped us right away and suggested we arrive early to get parking taken care of because it gets filled up quickly. Once I arrived she called me by name and knew it was me checking in. Lisa made our stay even more enjoyable and definitely took care of all our needs. The room was comfortable. DEFINITELY GET THE FAN going as there is no AC but opening Windows and using the fan. Bed is very comfortable. The Spa....what a great idea to give guests the key to the spa and let them have an entire hour to themselves. Their wine and cheese hour at 430pm everyday WAS AWESOME. Their breakfast allows you to get some wonderful food (we had the quiche) and not even leave the hotel. All food and wine and breakfast was included in the room price. Thank you for making our stay in Carmel very enjoyable. We will definitely come back.
