The hotel is very well located for central Gothenburg, walking distance to most museums. The room was quiet and spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was good with particularly good gluten free options. I will certainly go again on future trips to Gothenburg.

I like Fika

Staff were all very friendly. We liked "Fika" a Swedish tradition which means ...a break from activity during which people drink coffee, eat cakes or other light snacks, and relax with others. So the hotel offer 24 houraccess to coffee/ tea machine along with a small piece of cake in the afternoon/ evening. Breakfast was delicious.

Äldre,charmigt hotell där de behållit och anammat den äldre stilen. Allt helt, rent och välskött. Bra städat, bra sängar, även bäddsoffan var riktigt skön Stabilt, snabbt wifi utan problem. Bra frukost, många alternativ. (inte överdådig som de större hotellen med för många alternativ och massor som säkert får kastas) men mer än tillräckligt många, saknade inte något och tror ingen annan kan göra det heller. Kul grej med att göra egna våfflor :-) Jag gillar att det fanns många glutenfria alternativ som hade sitt eget bord avskilt från det andra (är själv inte glutenintollerant men det var riktigt bra). All personal trevliga och serviceinriktade, frukostpersonalen fyllde på så att det alltid fanns färskt bröd, frukt m.m. och tog bort från borden och dukade med ny duk mellan varje gäst. Andra gången vi valt Hotell Royal och kunde inte vara nöjdare, kommer att återkomma.
