Friendly staff.

The staff were extremely helpful and kind, including the femmes à ménage. Excellent service there. The rooms were very clean , truly spotless in the bathroom, etc . Howe ever , the walls were very dirty in the room. There were no real «  toiletries «  or the extras that you would usually find in a 4* hotel. Very easily accessible to the train station and somewhere simple to lay your head on a comfortable bed. No outside noise from the street , air conditioning works well.

We had a street view room; quiet, very clean and comfortable, but limited space for storage though, just some hangers, no shelves or closet. Had coffee machine & mini fridge. Our only complaint is the sewer smell coming from the bathroom is very strong. Even though the hotel is under renovation, it didn’t bother us. Centrally located so could walk almost everywhere - beach was about 15 min walk away. We didn’t partake of breakfast at the hotel, but did see quite a variety of offerings. There are many cafes, restaurants, and shops around the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. We highly recommend & would visit again.

Great hotel in a great location! Very close to the train station, beach, and lots of shopping! The biggest perk with it being a heat wave was that the A/C was amazing and they also had a cold, filtered free water station in the lobby!

Great stay! Clean room & bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows. Quiet AIr condition, working well. Great location, close to the train station, shopping, the Old Town and the beach. We didn’t try the breakfast this time, looked nice though. Free coffee in the room = very appreciated!!

The hotel is right in centre and has easy access to shopping/food 🙌 It is a 10-15min easy stroll to the beach. Our room was very big & clean although we’ve booked with a courtyard view, we couldn’t get it apparently you can get one when it is free.

A Great Stay at the St George

The St George was located close to everything but not in the middle of it. Cindy at the front desk was so helpful in getting me started on seeing the city by tram. It was clean, comfortable and cool during the hot week I was there. I will for sure book my future stays at the St George when I return to Nice.

The location was fantastic, and the beach was a nice little walk away. The hotel is very clean, and the staff was friendly. I stayed two separate occasions. We had a slight ant problem one day, but it was promptly handled and we didn’t see another after. The garden is also a LOVELY common area. I highly recommend this hotel!
