St Christophers Inn Hostel

Needed somewhere to stay, quite quickly and was surprised with this. It was clean and easy to book and just what was needed in a hurry. The cost was very good as well.

The building is falling apart, locks on bathrooms are missing, place REEKS of mold and dont get my started on the cleanliness of the common room, the sponge was IN PIECES and disgusting. The grounds were dusty and paint chipping everywhere and overall just a nasty place to stay. Beds were clean but uncomfy as hell!

Super Hostel for the price!

It is a very low cost accommodation, so you need to be realsitic. It's very basic. The bed was clean and comfortable, the room was quiet, other residents were extremely respectful and the staff were helpful and friendly. The showers worked well, the loos were clean and it was so handy for Greenwich. The breakfast was good - for £5 it was absolutely fine. The pub attached was good and always busy. However, it was unbelievably hot in the bedrooms and the wall-mounted fan did not rotate. You obviously have no privacy, so you need to be ok with that. The chill out room was in the basement and had no windows. The whole place is a bit run down. I was literally only there to sleep. The DLR gets you to central London within about 20 minutes and the Uber boats are great too. For the price, it was absolutely perfect and I would definitely stay again.

I have the following concerns below for my rating 1) The Expedia given a wrong distance figure from my search point to the property. I searched for property near Excel London and in Expedia data the property is only 2.7 miles from Excel. But actually it's 7.5 miles, better to calculate using Google maps rather than rely on Expedia. 2) Hidden or Tricky inclusions - Like it's mentioned in Expedia Towels & toiletries available but actually it's available but have to pay extra for that (which was not mentioned) 3) Also Locker available but you have to pay for pad locks😊 So here Expedia has to update their software and try to include what exactly included rather than misleading customers

O hostel fica nos fundos de um pub. Os ambientes atendem ao mínimo do básico. A entrada/saída 24h é por um portão junto das lixeiras do local. As beliches só contam com uma pequena luminária e tomadas de energia e USB. Não há nenhuma prateleira para se colocar o celular e pequenos pertences. O colchão é um tanto velho, mas aceitável. Os banheiros são muito ruins. As quantidades de vasos sanitários e de chuveiros não atendem ao número de hóspedes, de forma que estão sempre úmidos, sujos e com mau cheiro (pior característica do lugar). Só serve para dormir uma ou duas noites.
