It was beautiful area, busy, lots of duck poop on sidewalks, people who worked there were very nice, a little dated, tv didnt have much to offer, bed comfort I'd give a 7 out of 10 & I would visit again.

This hotel is adequate. I would recommend it for 7+ days stay since there was a kitchen. We had what we needed - a bed and bathroom. There were other places we could have stayed for a lower price, but we chose to stay here for the water view. I was disappointed because we only had a partial view on one side. The pictures of the rooms on hotels did not represent our room.

We booked the room at 16:30 and arrived at 20:00 after driving all day. There was no one at reception, no check in instructions for us, and no one answering the after hours phone. It is unacceptable that they would accept our reservation and payment and not permit us to check in. We had to drive down road to find a different hotel. What's more, hotels.com. is hassling us about a refund.

It was advertised that there was a hot tub, but there wasn’t. The bar tender at the Blue Cat lounge told us that they would be open til 12:30am-1am, but when we arrived at 10:50pm they were closed and no where to be found. And this was during bike week.

This was a nice little "cabin" that I stayed in for a night. It was clean for the most part, but did show it's age in some areas. Sink was stained on one side, floor in bathroom had a chunk missing from it, day bed covering appeared to have blood stains on it & some furniture was older but still served it's purpose. There was a fireplace, but did not use it since it was an actual wood fireplace. I figured it was gas, but it wasn't. I did not have any wood & wasn't going to buy any for a few hour use. Did not use any of the kitchen items or dishes, but were available if I needed them. There was no coffee in the room, so if you drink coffee, should plan on bringing your own. Only toiletries were 3 small bars of soap, but I always bring my own anyhow. Shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water, so that was nice. Overall, a nice stay in a cool little cottage right on the lake.

Room we received upon arrival looked nothing like what was represented on booking. The staff took care of us and were very understanding. The alternate room was very spacious but older accommodations. Nice pool. The staff were the highlight of the trip overall. They reported they are still working on some updates to some Of the units.

Different from what we expected

We booked late as we were not sure where we wanted to spend the night. There was one room left, which included 2 double beds. We prefer one king, but decided we could make do for one night. I guess the second double bed was a pull out sofa bed. Not appealing and it would have left us with no space at all to move around. That should have been in the description. On the plus side, the room was very clean and though a little tight, we are small people, so we made it work. The food at the Blue Cat Lounge was excellent!

As I stated in my review earlier. We had to make several complaints about the noise coming from the upstairs unit. The room had what looked like black mold on the ceiling and in one of the bathrooms. It also had an odor. None of the outlets in the bedrooms worked. We could not get Wi-Fi. The parking was too tight. The furniture was outdated. It was the worst hotel experience that I have ever had in my lifetime.
