I am a lead inspector at a casino hotel and I can say I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I read the reviews and had some concerns but figured we'd see for ourselves. We stayed one night, coming back from Pittsburgh, and overall the experience was great! Quiet, comfy, clean! The front desk attendant was nice and down to earth, she was accommodating and made sure I had a quiet room to sleep. The beds were a bit on the smaller side for 2 but they were comfortable. The room was large and I liked having the two entrances, one to the outside pool area and one to the parking lot. The water in the bathroom was hot and everything worked fine. The room has, I believe, vinyl flooring and it was free of any dirt which I know is hard to achieve. AC and heat worked good. It was freezing so the pool was closed. We pretty much just stayed in and ate dinner and chilled but I believe there's a lounge and bar somewhere in the hotel and the lobby has a coffee maker for whomever. You can rent a fridge and microwave for cheap, and they have roll away beds if needed. So I just wanted to say with the negative comments I had seen my stay was not bad at all. They are definitely trying to remodel, you can see that and in this economy I hope they do well in the future but it's a nice cozy motel that is conveniently located, clean and in a nice spot that was not crowded or noisy. Thank you so much for the lovely stay and homey atmosphere!
