There is nothing NOT to like about the Helvetia; it is my 4 th time staying here and my go-to choice whether I travel solo or not. Safe feeling, excellent location and a delicious smorgasbord is available on site; personelle are friendly & helpful. One gets a sound and quiet sleep at the Helvetia.

The hotel was very close to the Hbh and close to the Altstadt. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. There was no laundry facility in the hotel but we were able to access a hostel around the block that was owned by the same owner and there was an excellent laundromat just down the street. I recommend removing the laundry option from your website with Expedia as it’s not actually available on site.

Watch out for possible check-in time.

Due to a delayed flight, our arrival was close to 23:00, and the front desk was closed. They had sent us the password to enter, but it did not work, and when we called their emergency contacts, there was no response. Eventually, other hotel staff with a cooperative relationship with their hotel, which is 5 minutes walking distance, let us in, but they should have sent the correct password. The hotel is conveniently located a three-minute walk from Munich Central Station, but the facilities are generally old, not enough to be a problem, but not clean. Considering the price of the stay, we felt it was not a hotel we would recommend.

A localizacao é otima, da para conhecer varios pontos da cidade apé e tem estacoes de trem ao lado, o qur fica muito pratico, perto de tudo. Os atendentes foram muito educados, o café da manha foi maravilhoso, havia variedades paes, frios ovos mexidos, salada de fruta, nutella, cafe expresso latte cappuccino, sucos... a moça do cafe da manha é muito gentil e simpatica. O quarto tinha aquecedor, cofre, chaleira no quarto para fazer chá e café. Estava bem frio em munique, mas nao sentimos frio no quarto estava bem climatizado. O quarto tem um tamanho ideal, conseguimos abrir nossas malas sem ficar apertado, tem guarda roupa e televisao com muitos canais todos em alemao. Tinha ar condicionado mas nao testamos pois estava frio. A agua do banheiro era bem quente, tinha sabao no banho e na pia. Agua quente na torneira do banheiro e exaustor. Elevador de acesso ao quarto. Quarto silencioso e escuro.
