Everywhere was clean and tidy. The improvements made by the new owners work much better like the new reception area they have created with a lovely mural of York. The rooms are all being renovated to a good standard with coffee pod machines as well as the usual kettle.We will definitely be back.

The location also made this hotel a rare find for the affordable cost of the rooms as it is so close to the city center. Each morning I had coffee and pastries at a wonderful bakery next door...
